How should Bellew approach the Stevenson fight.

What do you think he should do in this fight? I honestly believe he needs to just throw everything at Stevenson from round 1 and try to test his chin. Bellew doesn't have the ability or discipline to outbox Stevenson so I feel that is his best bet. I can see him trying to spoil in this fight though. What are your guys thoughts?

 

Jab and move. Try to frustrate Stevenson and keep him out of reach. He will tire out and I fancy Bellew finishing him between 8-10

 

Bellew will need a baseball bat with him just to make the fight a little more even.Adonis will smoke this poor *******.

 

He could start by writing a will.

 

I think boxing long is his only option.

 

He has the physical traits to do that but I don't think he has the discipline or the abillity. I think Bellew needs to try to test Stevenson's chin and heart and try to impose himself on Stevenson, he's the bigger man.

 

Was going to say he could distract Stevenson by dressing up as a young girl but apparently Stevenson liked knocking them out as well.

I think he does have the ability to do this. I don't actually rate Stevenson that highly but he does have explosive knock out power. Stevenson has been knocked out by a journey man lets not forget and bellew knows this. If bellew can use his head and jab and move he can be world champion if he gets in to a tear up its highly likely he gets knocked out.

 

Needs to stay out of range and box on the outside, try and tire Stevenson and frustrate him and maybe put some pressure on in the second half of the fight, i think he'll get obliterated early if he does anything different.

 

Bellew does not win this fight, he should just try and survive the distance

 

Stevenson is a huge puncher but he is also 36 years old , he has been KO'd before so he can be put down again , i think Bellew will box at distance but what worries me is the fact Bellew only arrived in Canada yesterday , surely he should have been out at least a week before to get settled in and used with the time difference

 

For the good of boxing i hope Stevenson ends Bellew very early.

I used to like watching Bellew, he had an entertaining all action style but then after a few knockdowns he became a safety first boring fighter. Now i don't blame him for changing his style to one that will prolong his career but from a viewing perspective he has turned into one of the dullest boxers around whilst also coming across as a dick any time he opens his mouth.
