To the TS- Floyd actually does have power, he just doesn't have 1 punch KO power.

If the guy didn't have power in his punches than his opposition could throw caution to the wind and try to press him on the ropes and fight him aggressively. But when you see someone like Alvarez, a large JMW who came into their fight 15 lbs heavier than FLoyd not being able to do anything in their fight nor being able to get to Floyd, it's a pretty good sign that Floyd does have punching power.

He'd probably be able to TKO guys in the higher weights (147-154) if he decided to press the action like he did when he fought at 130-140, but he's taken a more cautious approach and doesn't fight too often in the pocket as he knows these guys are just naturally larger than him. Floyd is a Junior Welterweight who has been fighting north of his normal weight class for almost 10 years now.

Pacman does have a very aggressive style, but he'll get countered all day long. His movement and punching is very predicatble and easy to time, but I will say that the angles he throws his punches could make it difficult on FLoyd.

I have no doubt Floyd would beat him but I'm sure there would be times when Floyd would have to stand in the pocket and trade with Pacman. This is why I think Floyd would get touched up and possibly have a bloody nose by the end of a fight with Pacman, but he'd still clearly beat him.

You forget one thing, guys with high punch rates never, ever are able to punch with the same amount of frequency when they fight Floyd. He always makes high volume punchers decrease their punch counts, and he makes them 2nd guess themselves in the ring once he adjusts to their style of fighting. I honestly could see Pacman getting knocked out in the later rounds from a clean shot he just won't see coming. Floyd's counterpunching, patience, head movement, handspeed, timing, footwork and defense are exponentially better than JMM who gave Pacman hell for 4 fights. I can't imagine how bad Pacman would lose to Floyd if they ever fought.

But against guys who can actually give lateral movement those same movements work against him bc they can make him pay for his bad foot placement and mistakes he makes against other guys.

There is a reason why he couldn't do all of that **** against JMM especially in their 3rd fight and why Roach kept telling him to get his feet placed where he needed them.

I am not saying his foot work is horrible. Its not great but his foot speed is.

Quick feet but only against oppenents who stand still, move straight forward or a mixture of both, he can easily move in to positions to throw that left lead of his or whatever other straight shot(s) he throws against such one dimensional oppenents. He has good footwork, quick feet, but that doesn't mean great footwork. Mayweather Jr has great footwork, see how he moves almost effortlessly both offensively and defensively. Manny has quick feet that is used to set up oppenents for his shots, that doesn't equal great footwork, doesn't mean he sucks either though. I'm not dissing the Pacman foooools, just keeping it 100.

He didn't miss any good fights. You have to realize that Cotto lived to far away to fight and Margarito they weren't fighting to see who the best was. Pacquiao didn't want to take the test like the rest.

I thought he retired in 2007 after Hatton until JMM fight in 2009...Floyd kept calling out Sugar Shane Roidley, but Shane didn't want his **** tested incase Victor Conte was "deceiving him" in to taking roids....You know, just in case...and he was right to, that ******* was deceiving him and look how good Mosley has been since...has been...since. Yeah ride Floyd's dick ya'll and like it!

If all of these fighters were who you thought they were...where the **** are they now?

Cause if they were as good as Floyd at the age of 36 they'd still be on top of their game and a threat to the throne...get over it.

Styles make fights. By nature Manny is a pressure fighter. But a fighter who is a great counter puncher can create problems for Pac....and vise versa. That's why we've seen Juan and Manny have such close fights because their styles clash so evenly.

Pac can be off set by strategic footwork. Juan did that effectively. Sometimes even stepping on Manny's foot in the battle of getting position.

Pac has had issues with his calves cramping up which has hindered his ability to be as effective. I'm sure age....wear and tear ect has caused some of these issues but Manny has very good footwork. A prime James Toney had great footwork!
