Two deluded statements from Robert McCracken on ringside tonight, word for word.. 1) On how Carl Froch recovered after the round 1 knockdown "he recovered from the knockdown after 5 seconds sat on the stool". 2) On how Carl worked his way back into the fight after the knockdown "the plan was to stay out the way and box (after round 1) which we feel he did." Discuss that....
Simple,he's a deluded tosser who can't see what 99% of other people saw,and that was Concorde nearly ending up back home in Poland after the savage beating that SGG gave him,Froch's next fight is his last,i would bet on Ward sparking him senseless.
Just execuses from here on in. Froch ducking the rematch like it's the plague, I honestly tink he'd rather fight Ward because he wouldn't get hurt as much. Though ward is better than groves, he wouldn't hurt Froch like Groves did. Froch has no confidence against either of these guys.
Damage control. They're trying to change peoples perception on the fight, unfortunately we all have eyes and saw what happened. They're doing what they can to steer away from a rematch.
The whole program was a Carl Froch excuse. Glenn McCrory is the only Sky regular coming out of this with any credit.
Yeah the bias was ridiculous, I genuinely got annoyed at one point trying to hear what George was saying with all of them trying to talk over him with another excuse for froch.
He's protecting his fighters and mates ego, hardly shocking, he's generally very honest and fair. Don't really know what people expected him to say
true...... sky is not impartial here though are they?its only natural they protect their assets.....i thought Groves got cut off a few times whilst trying to give his views the bt interview was better
Haven't seen it so can't go to much into comment but he may honestly feel Froch was recovered sufficiently whilst sitting on stool? he may feel he was good enough to continue and not in a complete daze like say Timothy Bradley vs Provodnikov. I mean if he was in the complete and utter dire straits many say he was i don't see how he'd of took the other numerous right hands and lasted to the 9th and did what he did. Clearly hurt but i think McCracken may honestly feel his man did recover on stool.
I'm getting a bit tired of this "Carl Froch doesn't deserve to be booed" talk from Froch's team. If people buy a ticket then they are free to voice their opinion however they like surely?
by the same token froch's team are free to voice their own opinion about the booing. i'm getting a bit tired of this incessant whining.
