If this fight happens before Margo is an old man, look for Cotto to go down hard. Floyd could probably last 12 rounds with Margo because of his track skills, but Cotto is not elusive enough to do so. He is at least 3 inches shorter than Margarito and we all know he can be hurt. Margo would swarm him, absorb his punishment and deliver a beatdown that would have Cintron wincing from his hospital bed. No way Cotto could keep Margo off of him, and no way he has enough chin to last 12 taking hellacious shots from The Tiajuana Tornado. Book it and lock it.
Margo is also painfully slower than Cotto. Size alone won't win you fights. Margo has a good beard and some pop, so I think he keeps Cotto honest but at the end of the day Cotto is way better than him in every category.
Shut the **** up. Cotto would box circles around Margarito..look how a bum like cintron was able to land easily.. Cotto can hit and get out the way and beat margarito to the punch EVERY single time.
I'm not worried about what happens when Cotto hits Margarito. You should be worried about what happens when Margo hits Cotto, and that would happen if they fought. :good
Cotto will destroy Marg inside and out. He is faster and technically superior from the outside, and shorter, with harder tighter punches on the inside. Marg CANNOT win this fight. He will however cop a BRUTAL beating.
Book it and lock it. Floyd has enough speed to run for 12 rounds, but shorty does not. Cotto's cute moves will work for awhile, and then Margo is going to slice through him in a way that will make Cotto retreating from Mosley's bodyshot in the 10th (9th?) look like nothing. If Cotto gets in the ring with Margo, he is going to get the beatdown of his life. It'll be like Gargamel beating down on Papa Smurf.
Are you guys nuts? this is damn near a pick 'em. Hopefully you duds make the lines and make Cotto -500 fav, I'll take Margarito at any dog line. You just cant discourage a man like that. Cintron throws BOMBS that knock out most cats, Margarito smiles and walks through it. He then encourages Cintron to get up so he can beat his ass some more. Margo over Cotto pts or late TKO.

Ok.. Cintro may be good, but Margo/Cintron is just like Taylor/Pavlik.. He just will never beat him.. Cotto throws harder jabs than Cintron's power punches.. Margo would more than likely be the aggressor, but Cotto would tire him out and then would go to work..
Yep. Still how I feel. But in a rematch I think Margo takes him. Paul Williams is a physical freak, and has the motor to throw with Margo. Nobody else fits both descriptions, including the 6'1" or so Cintron. Cotto is like 5'7". Margo is 5'11" or so. Again, I give Floyd credit because he has superior defensive skills and can run with the best of them. Cotto is a cute fighter, but that will never get him through 12 rounds of assault by Margo. And we all know about the beard on Cotto.
