I don't think 5 guys would beat that version of Foreman.

60's version of Ali would. Other than that i would make Foreman favorite over pretty much anybody.. Holmes and Liston would have a chance. Maybe Louis.
Heck, i'm going to name Chris Byrd as my nr. 5..

So Tyson is a crazy pick but Chris Byrd is a safe bet?

 

Ali, Holmes, and maybe Lennox that's it, Vitaly Klitchko would be 50-50 depending on if his skin could hold up over a long 15 round fight?
I don't see Tyson pulling it off.
Wlad Klitchko would probably get Dqd for excessive holding, to keep from getting KO'd.
The great old timers like Dempsey, Tunney, Marciano, and Joe Louis, are simply to small and would be over powered..

 

Ali and Holmes are the only two I'd consider a favorite against Foreman of 73, I feel Bowe, Lewis, the Klitschko's have a fair chance. Holyfield, Tyson and Liston I don't like in a match up against young Foreman but I think they all do have a shot maybe even David Tua has a very small chance of winning if he could somehow weather the early storm or if he could land one of his devastating punches and take Foreman out but I feel Tua is made to order for Foreman and would likely got blasted out early much like Joe Frazier. Aside from that no one really comes to mind as having a chance perhaps Chris Byrd could pull a Jimmy Young like performance but I highly doubt it.

 

Styles make fights and the Foreman of 73 only had two fights both against heavyweights on the smaller side Frazier and Roman. Neither of who were over 6ft then he fought Norton who despite being great boxer basically toppled quickly to every huge puncher he faced. This gives the impression of Foreman as an unstoppable force but only few years earlier Gregario Peralta gave him all he could handle some feel he even won their first fight and shortly later Ali would Rope a dope a spent Foreman by round 5. He is an ATG but I do believe some of the big heavy's of today with good technical abilities would have a chance against Foreman. Lewis, K2 brothers could pull it off.
