Dude seriously? It's a 3rd world nation, 1 no one pays taxes like you do in the US, Filipino is stuck on tourism and foreign aid. 2 I woudln't doubt this is politically motivated

This was before he fought Oscar, Margo, Cotto and Forrest. Floyd was p4p but was the big draw like he is now and was considered high risk low reward.

Can tell you weren't watching boxing back then or you would know this ****. :patsch

    Thanks for the article.

Yeah...I saw this stuff brewing years ago when the Pacman fired his accountants - VisionQwest - at the behest of his "so-called" advisors and friends. Now he is screwed.

If I were Pacman, I would dump Arum and Koncz tommorrow and go to the BIR and tell them what happened. I sure the BIR would be happy to make a deal in order not to squash a national icon. But...Manny is under a spell and is too stupid to do it. In that way, Manny is still a child.

Why would he risk a fight against Floyd when he can double his career earnings by fighting Oscar? The same thing happened with Bradley and Khan, Bradley sidestepped Khan to fight Pac. I am not saying what he did was the wrong thing but he was looking back at what he said and trying to make excuses instead of saying I was chasing Oscar which seems like a duck to some people. I doubt there was a fighter in the history of the sport would not make the same choice as SSM.

    Bottom line is ....

If Mayweather was sure he could beat Paquaio he'd have already fought him & it would be history. Mayweather has tried everything in his power to try to discredit Paquaio.
I know it seems crazy but I wouldn't be surprised if the Mayweathers were behind this so called tax scandal. Damn they've come up with almost as silly accusations before

You are absolutely right about Pac looking like **** with Tim and you are right about Manny having a more difficult time with a boxer who moves well on his feet. But you couldn't pay me to believe that Pac doesn't have any fundamentals. He has an unorthodox style but he has very solid fundamentals. If Tim gets a rematch and Manny is as fluid and active as he was with Rios it will be a one sided win for Pac. Tim is good but he has always been a level beneath Manny and his style isn't one Pac can't overcome.

When you say this phrase 'Pacquiao you're next" in front of the media or public, does it mean that you are tough or courageous enough to challenge an opponent? Or it means the opposite? Note that this phrase could be offensive or inflammatory to some vicious fans or mockery to some other people. Since that promise was never fulfilled yet from that day on until now,

Does it mean that you are a
    1. Tough
    or a
    2. Coward

    ....fighter?

Every fighter calls out tons of fighters.

If any of those fights don't get made, are they all cowards and ducking?

    What does that mean?
