    Everyone else had agreed except Wach himself: HBO, Jennings, both promoters.

    People talk about ducking when it's just a business decision, but this is a REAL example of the fighter himself avoiding a good opponent and a big opportunity.

    Jennings is still scheduled for Jan 18 on HBO.

    Surely many other heavyweights will be willing to fight him.

    DelBoy is fighting Pala for the EU title tomorrow.

    Why would Wach fight Jennings when he could fight DelBoy for a more prestigious title vs a higher ranked fighter????:think

    HBO doesn't pay heavy weights all that much money. Magomed only received 40K when he fought Perez.

    Let's hope the protected Jennings will now how to fight a top 10 fighter to justify his paid for top 5 ranking. This is a case of what goes around comes back around. Ducker Jennings avoided 3 top 10 challenges to buy his promoter time to pay for his inflated ranking.
