bellews body language shows alot, as soon as ppl step in look at bellews hands and how he just stands there behind 3 ppl of his entourage while about 20 ppl of adonis entourage are litterally holding him back wile bellew just steps back and talks his **** from his protected zone, lol

When Stevenson got out, he met his future wife and made her read all the legal papers, proceedings of what he had been convicted for. They have been married for almost 10 years, have 3 kids. Yes he was once a scumbag I agree to that, but saying people can't change is being narrow minded.

Stevenson won't be counter punching that's for sure. He's going in for the kill, and he's got stamina to do that over many, many rounds.

It's a tough one. I'm kinda willing to acknowledge Stevensons an OK guy now, and that he has turned his life around but the **** he did really sucks. Obviously the girls he hurt are still suffering and having to watch their tormenter being feted in the sports press can't be fun.

    Ah well...

Where were we...yeah, as you say Stevenson ain't gonna gas, one of his most informative fights for me was his 12 round beatdown of Don George when he showed he could go through a full fight and still have enough left in the tank to pull the trigger at the end.

Despite the drubbing of Cloud, I'm not not entirely sold on Stevensons boxing skill. He's very fast and very strong and has plenty of stamina, but I still view him as a relatively basic fighter. TBH Campillo and Bhop had already shown just how limited Cloud was and outboxing him didn't prove a great deal about how skilled Adonis is. With that caveat, however, Stevenson is undoubtedly a very dangerous fighter; the highest level of boxing ability isn't always necessary when the physical gifts and will to win are there - I just feel he may struggle if he comes up against a top class boxer who is strong enough to hang with him.

    Ain't gonna be Bellew tho.

He's still improving his footwork, balance and variety of punches - fight after fight. I think Sugar Hill is devoting a lot of Kronk time to him, and rightly so. When a pure boxer or solid boxer-puncher comes along, Hill will put Stevenson through one hell of a camp. They both worked with the late Manny enough to have formed a bond that's both business and personal.

Even against Kovalev whom I consider #1 H2H at LHW right now, I wouldn't count Stevenson out. I believe Hopkins doesn't have the reflexes and legs to hang with a bomber like Kov or Stevenson anymore.

With Beterbiev coming up the ranks soon, LHW is getting hotter and hotter. All we need is an exciting Pascal-Bute fight and the arrival of Andre Ward. Then it becomes the most talked about division in boxing... at least on forums LOL

One of the girl said it was hard to see him not only succeeding, but having fans sheering him while they got their life screwed and didn't came back in life how he did.

Stevenson saw a guy getting murdered in front of him when he was 4 years of age and never saw his dad who died getting punch in the chess when Stevenson's mom was pregnant. Tough way to start life, good way to screw up how you perceive life.

    Your call.

Weren't there any weights or photos for the undercard fights? It was a decently stacked card.

This is supposed to make him a hero or something? People who not only beat but torture women are scum of the earth and I'm looking forward to the day he gets his. It might not happen against Bellew, but seeing as he is a limited, 36 year old fighter - I don't think I will have to wait that long.

Absolutely not, why are you saying that? That's going from an extreme to the other. He appears to be a lot less of a scumbag than he once was 17 (!!) years ago, but he's definitely not a hero in my book.

Interesting, this.Got a feeling Kovalev is not going to have things his own way.Want Bellew to win and think hell snatch a decision.
