Kovalev should fight Stevenson, Bute and Pascal should just fight each other from now until retirement, neither will go on to achieve anything else.
Pascal has never been stopped and has an iron jaw. I would be surprised if his movement and pot shotting didnt get him through 12 rounds. Even if he didn't win.
I think Pascal beats Kovalev, hes underrated yes Hopkins schooled him but show me someone in that division with the craftyness of Hopkins Pascal beats Stevenson and Kovalev, then loses to Hopkins again if them fights happen

Froch is to Kovalev what Carlos Blanka is to... Blanka. Froch being a stylistic nightmare for Bute, Kovalev is, well, the End.
I think Bute could cause him some trouble. They're very similar boxers in fact, both are balding badly. I also think that Bute was weight drained against Froch, I also heard he used Propecia before the fight. That spells disaster for both the punch resistance and strength.
Bute would stop him in 5th. Nothing special about this Kovalev, just a foul like Brinkley. He's not even Magee level. And you're talking about him like he's something special. This Russian is simply swimming in the ring. On the other hand, Golovkin is much better than Kovalev but hugely protected.
