I can agree with this and I will just say his foot work works for him.

Are you blind? You can clearly see Manny twisting and turning Bradley, which is all footwork to position yourself at those angles. Bradley is unable to see Pacquiao punches because they are coming from a blindspot angle, because Pac using his footwork positioned himself at that angle, in the process of trying to get away from those punches unable to see where they are coming from, he rolls his ankle. Had Pac been the usual stand in front of you fighter throwing those punches, Bradley could have just backed off, or moved laterally, as it was he was dealing with 2 major things: Pac's punches, and Pac's movements using his footwork.

Like I said, guys like you have a warp sense of what constitutes good footwork. Its like looking at a car, one is very fuel efficient, and another is very fast but uses a lot of fuel, now which is a good car? The answer is, it depends on your style.

Toney is a counterpuncher, he is the former, Pac is the latter, his footwork utilizes his skillset to the best of his ability.

Edit: At one point in the middle of that combination, you can clearly see Pac throw the straight left, followed by a leaping jab but instead of just leaping forwards he leaps to the side, this causes Bradley to be blindsided again, and he has to turn to follow Pac's movement and leads the his ankle being sprained. Pac moves laterally in the middle of a combination, if thats not great footwork I have no idea what you have in your head is.

You are the one who is ****ing blind. Blind as a ****ing bat. First of all they are near the ropes slugging it out a bit. Manny is squared up against the ropes and throwing. Later in that gif Manny lunges forward and is throwing. Neither guy was showing any foot work in that gif which proves my point. I don't have a warped sense of anything. You think his foot work is great and I don't think its great and that his foot speed that is great makes up for his foot work mistakes.

So now you are basing it on style to say that Manny has great foot work. :patsch His foot work that he does have works for him but as the speed and reflexes slow down he won't be able to get away with those same mistakes.

Watch the GIF, Pac is in the corner, he twists himself into the ropes and back Bradley into the ropes/corner, if thats not enough, as Badley is following him, he throws a left hand, then right hand, whilst simultaneously leaping to bradleys left (all footwork). If there was no footwork involved in that move, how the **** did he end up literally, on the other side of the ropes? Floated?

Footwork is always based on style?? WTF is wrong with you? Do you think Tyson prime had poor footwork because he squared up and didnt move like Mayweather? That footwork works for him, but you wont see Tyson floating like Ali anytime soon trying to do pull counters.

I disagree, Bradleys injury was due to him making a mistake in trying to get out of trouble. It's an injury caused by him more so than what Pacquiao did. If I chase you, and you trip over a rock, you can't say that I tripped you. You tripped over that rock. It's not like Pacquiao has a history of causing opponents to roll their ankles. I do agree that Pacquiao showed some good movement in that sequence, albeit awkward and off balanced.

Now you are bailing out and trying to use style to win this debate. Hopkins and Jones have totally different styles but both have great Foot work. James Toney has totally different style than Manny but Toney has better foot work. I don't give a rats ass about style and I am simply talking foot work. You are upset bc people don't agree that MANNY has this great foot work and like I said his foot speed makes up for that.

Dude just stop. Manny's foot work didn't cause Bradley to roll his ankle. I proved that with the gif. Both guys where off balance, lunging and stuff. You are taking this personal. When did I say people need to move like Floyd? That right there proves you are taking in personal. Floyd isn't even my favorite fighter of all time and probably falls at number 5 on that list. I didn't say if they don't move a certain way I think its bad and my examples of Toney, Hopkins, and Roy who all have a different style proves that.

There was no rock in the ring, it was Pac and Bradley. If you chase me, and you can't keep up and drop to your knees because you can't keep up, thats credit to me. Pac was twisting and turning Bradley, causing him to be off balance. Bradley would not have been off balanced if Pac didnt twist and turn him. That process of Bradley having to follow Pac around is what caused him to hurt his ankle.

If we were in a car chase and you were chasing me, you could chase me all day if we were driving in a straight line, however if I started twisting and drifting, you might find yourself lose control whilst trying to keep up. You made the mistake, I caused it.

You're blind, evidence is in front of you. Or are you gonna deny Manny didnt use his feet to literally leap behind Bradley? :patsch:lol:

And tell me how does Bradley become off balance? Here is a hint, he had to twist and turn to keep track of Manny.

Lmao @ you. Dude Bradley lunged in and missed his right. Both guys are squared up on the ropes. Manny is punching, barely moving his feet and Bradley is attempting to bob and weave and not even keeping his eyes on Manny. Off the ropes Manny lunges with that right left combo he throws leaving his feet and Bradley is bobbing and weaving. The momentum of Manny lunging and Bradley ducking is why Manny ended up behind him. Not great footwork.

He lost track of Manny bc his head is down and his eyes are off Manny. Bradley is the reason he twist his ankle bc neither guy was using this great foot work in that sequence. :deal ILLWILL even stated a few post up that he was off balance and a bit awkward. Both of them too.

Let's just say Pac has very good footwork which is undeniable. But what makes his footwork great are those intangibles.......like speed, explosiveness and reflexes. Things not all athletes have but Manny was born with. Pac is very unorthodox and I think a lot of people mistakenly see that as being unskilled but in reality it just is not the what most boxing fans are used to seeing from more orthodox styles.

It's not as esthetically pleasing to the eye but there aren't many who could pull off the kind of footwork that Manny applies when he's in the ring. His opponents and sparring partners all say the same thing about Pac's footwork. ....that it's incredible.

Is he as refine as as Toney or Floyd? 2 of the best orthodox boxers who's footwork looks so smooth and fluid? No......but it doesn't mean that there's no skills or fundamentals in the footwork Manny exhibits in the ring.

The rock is Bradleys foot, the object he tripped over. If I chase you and can't keep up that could be due to you being faster than me. If I drop to my knees, that would be due to my lack of conditioning, or my decision to drop to my knees. Lets simplify it, if I chase you and you fall, I made you fall? Credit can not be given to me for you falling. Your actions caused you to fall.

So bradley stepped back hastily, after getting away from a barrage of punches, and tripped over his own foot. That had zero to do with Pacquaio's footwork. A bunch of other times Bradley got away from Manny's punches without tripping over his own foot. Also, he was about a mile away from Pacquiao when he rolled his ankle.
