Bute gets a real shot at re-establishing himself in January, Pascal is still a big name and I ain't sure which way this one goes.

Real big fight but kinda eclipsed by the young turks fighting in a few hours.

Thank you haha. This battleship got sunk by the Cobra, but i still missed it. If Pascal looks the same like he did the last time, Bute might beat him. But my money is still on Pascal by stoppage, but i do believe that Bute got a fair shot to beat Pascal :bbb

A lot at stake... I hope Bute turns it all around and technically takes out Pascal. Very hard fight for Bute though as Pascal is very hungry and eager for this fight. Bute has good training ethic and it's all a battle of mental strength with himself.

This upcoming fight with Bute reminds me of those supposed big fights in the UK between a couple of good domestic boxers-but thats all they are.Both Bute and Pascal "best before date" has expired.It's a big fight in a small pond.Quebecer's get excited about it but the rest of Canada yawns.

 

I recently asked this on another thread and never got an answer. Does Bute still hold an option for a Froch rematch? It's been over 18 months now since they fought, and it seemed all talk of a rematch had gradually disappeared. But after Froch struggled so much vs Groves, I wonder if Bute might possibly (re)consider activating his rematch clause, assuming he still holds the option.

 

It will all be considered after the Pascal fight.... It might be a trilogy so it might take a while. I know Bute mentioned he wants Froch to come to MTL to fight him in about 2 fights from now.

 

I'm not ashamed to say I'm fan of Bute. The guy is all class and hopefully he can make a solid return. Would LOVE to see him beat Pascal and Stevenson.

 

For sure he's all class! And he's very talented. Just wish Ward accepted the fight instead of Bute fighting Froch.
