    It would once again spark the interests of many Mexican/American fans.

    Canelo now needs to get his confidence up then let's see a rematch

    Floyd Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez 2

    I think it would be a great stylistic matchup for Canelo. The first time around, he was afraid to throw and was getting boxed to bits by May.

    May will be 1-2 years older, let's see it. It will be a much much more competitive fight this time around.

    May's legs getting worse, Canelo grabbing more experience after a Mayweather defeat/Cotto win.

    I think by now, he'll have grasped Mayweather's bad tendencies and possibly try to pressure him and win the bout.

    Canelo couldnt beat Floyd at 50. Not a good matchup and he doesnt have the stamina to brawl.

    A good win over Cotto wouldn't be enough. Canelo's supposed to fight 3 times next year. Let him, after the Cotto fight (IF it happens and IF he wins), fight a guy like Molina, Ortiz, Trout-Lara winner on the 2nd date to reclaim some belts and dominance at 154, move up to 160 to fight Martinez if he still rules there by then, and IF he succeeds in all that, talk Mayweather-Alvarez 2 for 2015

    canelo looks like a beast against a washed up cotto, gets the hype train back on track. has another fight and looks to have his confidence/skills sharpened, riding an all time high of hype a mayweather rematch is signed, breaks all ppv records, alvarez wins a controversial decision and sets up a part 3. mayweather walks away a billionaire, all according to plan.

    Mayweather don't do retreads, He did it once with Castile but he was young and didn't know any better. That's one of the things I like about him, he don't give a man a chance to reset. Anyway 2015 is the year of his final fight contract with Showtime and that spot is reserved for Manny.( I hope)
