This contest is at welterweight, but Skeete's last two were at middleweight. (and his career thus far has seen him pinball between 147, 154 and 160). He is also extremely tall and thin for 147 and has probably more of a junior middle or full middle frame.

    Round 7

Skeete is jabbing out at Lynes from outside, bouncing on his toes and putting together wide roundhouse half-uppercut rights before Lynes can jump in past the jab with a short-armed hooking sequence. Lynes hunkers down and bobs on the outside, looking to catch Skeete unawares pouncing in with a pair of hooks, but lacks the speed to get within range. Skeete is able to move as soon as Lynes begins his attacking motion, then set himself from safety and pepper Lynes with light jabs and straight combos.

    10-9 Skeete

    67-65 Skeete

Yeah. On the farther end of that, if Buglioni vs. Horvath goes the full twelve after this.

sorry but if this is true bjs and fw should be ashamed because the are far above this level should challenge fringe world contendors like max bursack or take on chudinov in a prospect bout

I'm sure I've heard the pairing mentioned for 'somewhere a bit down the road' a few times on-air...frequently on the forums, too.

    Round 8

Skeete is jumping around Lynes and dropping in jabs and clap-down mousetrap rights across the shoulders of Lynes, falling atop him and clinching before pushing off and circling out to long range to start over. Lynes is stepping forward, not letting anything go. Skeete jumps around him and flurries at will, sitting down on nothing.

    10-9 Skeete

    77-74 Skeete

i am not say it isnt true, but bjs has already won the lonsdale belt outright so he has no bussiness fighting a oversized welterweight

    Round 9

Skeete is running clockwise around Lynes, tapping out with his antenna jab. Straight right charging in by Lynes, catching Skeete at just the right moment to land solidly and push his chin back. Lynes is jumping in and hooking the body as Skeete grabs him when his attempts to run are untimely. Nice right hand by Lynes at the bell.

    10-9 Lynes

    86-84 Skeete

Well, to be fair - Pryce, against whom he made his first defense of the Commonwealth belt and who ranks among his best 3-4 victories, is an oversized super featherweight (and with a few more grey hairs than Skeete...)

    Man I hate these cards.

Can they at least give us some punchers. Seems the only time a feature fight starts early is when they bring in a guy like Cote on the UC.

Wish these guys would import some punchers for their under-cards. These decisions are getting old.:rofl

    Round 10

Skeete is pumping double jabs and hopping carefully out and to his left, with a large gap left between them. Lynes charges in firing hard and Skeete collides into him to clinch. Skeete darts in and out and jabs. Right hand by Lynes, Skeete throwing his own right as a decoy to move in and hold. Slapping left hook by Skeete dancing around Lynes. Left hook, right cross by Lynes, just grazing Skeete.

    10-9 Lynes

    95-94 Skeete

    Good entertaining fight.

Had Skeete just nicking it 6-4.
