Constant pressure will only get Pac's ass constantly beat. You have to out think Floyd if you wanna beat him. That's why Cotto did as well as he did. He broke Floyd's rhythm and was hitting Floyd when he didn't expect it. When Floyd reset Cotto didn't know how to adjust to the reset and that cost him. Pac is easy to figure out. He has speed but he only has one style. His adjustments is trying to move faster and that that won't help because his brain don't correlate with his speed and that will be his undoing.

People let HBO fool them at times. Floyd won the first 5 rounds of that fight clear as day. With 7 rounds to go nobody can say Castillo won all of them. I had Floyd winning that 8 rounds to 4 and that was when he was hurt and wasn't even as good defensively as he is now.

Just throw a straight right or left like Shane and Corley...and if that isn't good enough, throw a overhand counter right like the one Marquez knocked Pac unconscious with for 4 minutes. See if Floyd is left standing after that.

I believe it takes a crafty boxer like a hopkins/ward who is versatile and can mix it up/rough it up. Applying constant pressure makes fighters subject to numerous counters by floyd but if the fighter persists and is relentless, he eventually can break floyds defense and walk him down. Even journeyman type fighters like Corley and Burton had flashes of this against PBF

blah blah blah..... the mayweather fans will have their opinions same as the pacquiao fans.

But we all know that Pacquiao is still a dangerous opponent for Mayweather and has a punchers chance.

The only question is if Mayweather willing to fight Pacquiao or another road block from the mayweather team.

    End thread. :deal

...which is why Floyd ducked the best pressure fighters (Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito and prime Miguel Cotto).

COTTO DID NOT WANT ANY OF THAT. I LOVE COTTO. BUT HE WAS PRESENT AT THE GATTI FIGHT, AND WANTED NO PART OF FLOYD. According to Arum anyway.

constant pressure against Floyd gets you rolled then countered. Especially pacquiao, with no jab to speak of and likewise no defense. Pac would be running into jabs to the solarplexus or straight flush rights. Do you guys even watch boxing?

You know that floyd is a master of several defensive schemes and only shoulder rolls in the pocket or against the ropes right? What's manny gonna do to floyd in the pocket? Or how would he get him against the ropes?
