He has movement. There's a difference. Mayweather has footwork. Ali has footwork. Pacquiao just moves around a lot. Footwork is more rhythm, repetition, and memorized instincts, than it is bouncing around in and out. Which is why Pac got KTFO by Marquez. Good footwork wont lead you into a blow like that, but aimless movement will. He just bounces around. PBF doesn't overexert himself, he knows where to be and where not to be. Theres a difference.
Because we dont live in a generation of tablets and phones. I get more pu--y than you and I can guarantee I have more money than you fat boy.

Your blind if you don't see Manny using angles, lateral movement and pivoting in all of his fights....some more than others. Manny has a rhythm....it's not one that is easily mimmicked but Manny has put on masterful performances when he is in his rhythm. What got his ass starched in the last Marquez fight was over confidence and recklessness. He was dominating the round and has his opponent hurt and cornered. Manny instinctively went in for the kill without setting anything up and got caught by a masterful counter puncher who took advantage of Pac's mistake. You can't be blind to the fact that Manny's style is built on his footwork and movement. To say Manny just "aimlessly moves around" with no real strategy or reasoning is a f*cking joke. His movement and rhythm is what allows him to be in position to land his combinations or avoid offense coming at him. If Manny was just moving around fighters would be able to land at a much higher connect percentage than the high 20% range on average.
Well, he gains his angle which means he knows what he's doing. He gets his punching centerline traced right into the other guy's vital points along the head and trunk, with himself off-angle from the other guy's centerline. Gaining this type of position rapidly and consistently is a specific body of knowledge, a skill. I don't see how anyone can refute that.
It takes great skill to jump into a counter right from hell, be put to sleep only to be awaken by smelling salts. Greatest footwork in the game by far that Manny.
Perhaps you're simply being obtuse... That incident happened amidst many rounds of maneuvering. Were it to have taken place in a continuum of aimless wandering by Manny then we could say he displayed no skill. But he sought and gained his angle with great frequency throughout, and thereby we can objectively state the existence of a demonstrated and consistently repeatable skill-set. What specifically is your counter-argument for this?
That Manny has never been able to avoid that same counter right JMM in 4 fights and still to this day. I'll wait on you now. His "angles" which are nothing more than bad fundamentals are only good against stationary targets with no defense, or countering ability.
