After what took place tonight, Ward will continue to fight in his mama's backyard against mediocre competition. And continue to look mediocre against that competition.

Agreed, and he has mentioned it more than once. He won the gold medal at 175. Put him in there with Kovalev or Adonis, and NOT in Oakland.

You talking about the guy that did fight any European fighter in Europe, and the guy that weight drained Dawson?

If he comes out next week and says I will fight Adonis at 175, in Canada. Props to him.

War didn't want to fight Bute, why on earth would he fight KOvalev or Superpimp.

Funny thing is though, until Stevenson and Kovalev burst on to scene at the start of the year LHW was considered something of a 'meh' division.

Within the space of a year they've between them beaten most of the top ten and turned the division into one of the most exciting in the sport.

The fight between them must be made in 2014 though.

Damn, Ward just fainted tonight! Stevenson had been calling out Ward, but Ward wants no part of Stevenson or Kovalev. Ward will only fight in his home town with his referee, judges, boxing commission, etc................

175 has gotten even more interesting as Beterbiev turned pro, and Mekhtonsev is turning pro next week, two guys that were considered Bette boxers than Kovelev in the Russian amateur circuit

Stevenson and Kovalev are very hard fights for Ward

id say him vs Stevenson is 50/50 but Kovalev stops him

What would happen if Kov lands his best shot or two in Wlad's chin?
