I'm really looking forward to this fight, incredibly difficult to call but Trout's showing against Saul and Cotto gives me a degree of confidence he will emerge victorious. Lara struggled against Vanes and he's not exactly a technical master of the sport.

Lara has the better chin? You just said yourself that they both got knocked down. Lara got knocked down twice and by a lesser fighter yet has a better chin? please explain.

Then he should've used that gear when he fought Delvin Rodriguez in that snooze fest.

El Perro hits harder than Canelo. If Trout did his stanky leg dance in front of Angulo, he would've been finished off.

No/No. Canelo hits harder then Angulo. If Trout was against Angulo mid leg shake dance hip wobble, then he would jive his way through to a decision

Lara wide decision dont really think Trout is that good, thought he won against Canelo but mainly because of Canelo's terrible stamina

Could you have honestly seen Ryan Rhodes and Matthew Hatton lasting as long as they did with Alvarez as they would with Angulo?
Nor would you have seen Mosely sit and trade with Angulo like he was with Alvarez. He would've moved in and out like he did with Toney.

Alvarez is the superior fighter with faster and more precise hands, but Alfredo has heavier hands with a higher volume. Lara was under constant pressure with Alfredo. With Alvarez he may have been clipped like Trout was, but he wouldn't have took the heavy barrage of shots which brought him down.

Trout is actually the favorite in this fight. The line opened up -110 for both fighters. The bets started coming in and the line moved to -120 on Trout, even on Lara. Latest I saw was Trout -115 with Lara -105. Vegas has it extremely close, as do the fans.

Personally, I believe Trout will win a close fight. This truly is a pick 'em though, could swing either way.

I'm looking forward to see this fight because of the styles of both fighters, very tricky fight imo.

I'd give Lara a slight chance over Trout. IMO the ideal scenario would be:

    Lara beating Trout
Lara facing Canelo and beat him
then Floyd picking Lara to fight him @ 152.

    :)

anyway beside Trout , Lara has to beat a good name like Canelo to appeal a fight with Floyd.

yeah, indeed is a pick'em fight but I think Lara's style will give Trout major problems.

people say that Angulo dropped Lara and shi't but this is boxing and styles make fights.

don't forget Lara make Angulo quit, which is a very hard thing to do cuz Angulo is a tough mofo.

I agree with you there. Angulo is the better finisher. He would have finished off most of Canelo's resume. However i consider a smart boxer puncher more dangerous then a pressure slugger. A slugger only have two gears. Whereas a boxer has multiple. Angulo can finish off a lot of fighters but there is a line in the sand of the caliber of opposition he could or could not finish. He couldnt stop Kirkland, but he could stop Trout?
