Basically, after winding myself up on here countless times reading various posts and threads, I thought it'd be interesting to know how many posters on here actually box. You see a lot of strong opinions on here from people i suspect have no idea what its actually like to fight, let alone at at the level of the guys they criticise. So, what are your experiences in the ring?

Im referring in my OP to people on here heavily criticising world level boxers, the words 'bum' and '****' are always bandied about.Are you saying these users on here know more about the art of boxing than the fighters? Im talking about technique and skills, not history of the sport etc

I trained boxing for like 7 years, though i'm not doing it anymore It was mainly a hobby for me, never thought about becoming pro or something I had lots of sparring matches 5 amateur bouts, lost 1 of them My stamina was always crappy and I hate roadwork so it never improved I was never knocked down once, so I guess that makes me iron chinned at the same time, I never knocked anyone down (well, I floored guys a few times but were slips more than anything ) so I guess I'm pillowfisted that's it. Am I qualified to call people glass jawed frauds now?
