Even at 49 he would school this dude. He would take away that left hand and make it an ugly fight. Bernard is an expert against southpaws. I know he lost to Dawson but Chad is 6ft 3 and Hopkins couldn't get in range while Adonis is like 5ft 9. Hopkins would have huge height advantage and he would make it count. It wouldn't be pretty but Hopkins wins by UD

I would favor Hopkins for the "upset'. Superman was having a hard time landing on Bellew and his movement was awful.

No he would not. He is 50 years old and isn't fighting on a top level for a couple of years now. He would come and try to make it ugly in order to sneak a close decision, but to suggest that he would actually manage to do that against the current champion is a mistake. Hopkins is painfully slow at this point, his body also can't take it anymore, his punch output is extremely low and he could be outboxed relatively easily but in Adonis' case, he would get knocked out.

Anyone see how many times Pascal dropped Hopkins in their first fight ? Stevenson is actually a better boxer than Pascal with more pop Hopkins would end up hurt here if he couldn't rough him up in one of his usual hug fests..

Hopkins was getting hit cleanly by Murat and seemed to struggle in that one to me. I think he is finally showing his age.

I think I am the only one who thought Hopkins beat Dawson.. Dawson barely landed anything clean and Hopkins deserved more credit for making him miss

How many times have people said Hopkins wouldn't win he will be KO'd ect he is to old. Now i wouldn't have him as the favorite vs AS but Stevenson is being a little bit hype IMO Cloud and Bellew are very much fringe world level and he caught Dawson before we got to find out how well he could box Dawson, BHOP has made a career of exposing and schooling younger hyped up fighters and even at close to 50 i reckon he could pull off a win over AS

BHOP would not only beat Superman, but he may even win by stoppage.

I see this as another BHOP Vs Pavlik

Wrong. Stevenson would be stupid to take this fight. How many guys have walked into Hopkins trap never to remain the same.

And let's not forget Hopkins agreed to fight Stevenson which was rejected by HBO and said he would fight the far more dangerous Kovalev as his mandatory but Showtime turned it down.

Hopkins still intends to unify all the Light Heavyweight titles so don't make out like he isn't willing to fight these guys. It's not like he has a long history of ducking people. He was trying to get a fight with David Haye for ****'s sake.

I'm not saying Hopkins has no chance but I think he's best getting out of the game while he's ahead, sooner or later he's going to get knocked out and that will hurt his legacy in the long run.

Hopkins looked a bit old against Murat but honestly, I'd still favour him. Punching power has never bothered Bernard and he sure is not losing this on score cards.

BHOP was just being very cautious against Murat. All he needs is to get sloppy against a European bum like this and Booom, his cred suffers.
He would definitely school Stevenson and GGG as well.
