The oldest skill position is Tony Gonzales, an athletic freak at 37.

He isn't the strongest player and his approach to training is highly skill based.

Average retirement age for NFL players? 30.

You see, the majority of sports performance scientists are afraid to take their shirts off in public, yet that still doesn't stop them from telling superior athletes how to train.

Secretly they are jealous and they hope for their downfall.

Point being? Sports performance is the main objective of sports scientists, and often it compromises longevity.

Most sports performance is geared around NFL numbers, but players in the NFL are no different than thoroughbreds, raced hard then used up and shot.

In the sport of boxing, those numbers are not as important because it is a different sport that often requires different levels of endurance, both strength and cardiovascular related.

The ideal method of sustaining longevity without compromising boxing specific performance is to take an advanced calisthenics/kettlebell approach to training.

You will get plenty strong without compromising hip flexibility and joint integrity in the long run.

Small pecho would have you believe otherwise because he's young and jealous. You see, superior athletes already have his level of strength without even training.

I want you young kids to have a long and healthy career and avoid listening to imbeciles who can't punch harder than a female or he would prove it with a YouTube video, and yes, I'm referring to small pecho again.

Give me one study Roach where its proven that working with weights is bad for you in the long run, where it compromises hip flexibilty and joint integrity and longevity. You will find out (well you wont cause you are a imbecile) that its the other way around.
    1,2,3 go!
And for the record Ladies & Gentleman this is a guy who said he wold rather listen to advices from a guy serving time in prison then a s&c coach.

I'm trying to help you pecho. I want you to be strong for your kids and your grand kids.

Let me ask you this, who's advice would you rather take, a guy that's in his late 60s still going strong, stronger than most people, and never been raped, or a guy that has his puddin stolen every day?

This is also a guy that after 10 years of powerlifting had a combined weight in the 3 lifts of just over 1000lbs. He then quit because he was scared of potential injuries.

Obviously a guy to listen to...

Prove that you hit the 1500 milestone or stfu.

Also prove you can punch. I've been waiting for damn near half a decade for you to prove you can punch.

Never seen one, which leads me to believe you can't do ****. I know for a fact, you can't hit 1500, and if you can you fat and on roids.

Not really sure but I think "water muscle"= mass with no definition. He has argued that lifting weights and using mass building supplements give people a bloated, undefined look with no functional strength.
