Judah: 'Bradley is one of the hardest-fighting people in boxing'

This is what Zab said after he was asked about the upcoming Pac-Bradley fight next April.
“That’s a very interesting fight,” said Judah. “Like I tell people, Bradley is one of the hardest-fighting people in boxing. He throws 90-million punches; he’s going to be on you for three minutes and 12 rounds. If you fight Tim, you’re going to come to fight.

“He’s a tough dude; he can box, Listen, I like the guy.” added Judah.


Is he right or just kidding?

Bradley obviously fights very hard. There is no argument to he made that he doesn't.

 

Bradley wants it more then most fighters I see. Just wants it.

 

Yeh Bradley gives it his all in every single fight you've got to admire that.

 

It's true. Bradley is a monster. You have to be in tip top shape to compete with him and then you have to deal with his skills and most of all his will to win.

 

Did not see it in the Pac fight.

Who in recent memory besides Marquez has put in even comparable effort - or made Pacquiao himself exert half as much effort?

Cotto maybe started out going hard but fought with a great deal less **** and vinegar after the first couple of rounds.

DLH was physically unable to work very hard in his condition, and was mentally defeated fairly early.

Barrera, as much as I love the man, completely bottled their rematch and didn't want to even attempt taking any risks.

You have to dig far to find someone who fought even half as hard as Bradley...all the way to Jorge Solis, in fact - and Solis fought half as hard as Bradley. If you reach further, Larios fought a bit harder (still not more than Bradley), and then further still of course you have Morales I...but that was a long time ago now.

 

You're telling me you think Margarito fought only "half as hard as bradley" against pacquiao? You really are going full potato, aren't you?

 

I love me some Timbo. Guy is a warrior. Always comes to win. The only way in hell he gets the ud over Pac is by all but sweeping the last 3-4 rounds. And that's just what he did. Most guys would've called it a day after feeling Pac's power and hurting his feet. He took shots from Ruslan that would've koed pretty much everyone else. The guy still is not as skilled as Floyd or Ward but his determination to win is always big factor in most of his fights. He has willed himself to wins and not everyone is willing to dig down that deep.

 

To be fair, Cotto fought his ass off for the first six rounds. It was only after he was pretty much out on his feet that he started fighting from the outside. It wasn't Cotto's best performance, but he definitely fought hard.

That being said, I definitely agree that Bradley fought very hard. I still think it is asinine to say he won, but you can't deny his will.

Yeah, all those steps in with his guard raised up but getting penetrated by flurries anyway, eating upwards of twenty punches before throwing a single one himself - real worker bee, he was. He did his usual Margarito thing. He walked forward and took punishment and tosses his gloves around. No, I wouldn't say he fought half as hard as Bradley...because he didn't. He spent long stretches thinking about what to do when not plodding forward getting lit up. He worked harder and more consistently than his mini-me Rios, maybe, but performed similarly. Bradley put on his hard-had for three minutes, every round.
