as a floyd fan i have to agree here... the fight is avalaible i know bob arum even wants it (or atleast says he does) so id expect floyd to put in the same ammount of effort getting it made as he did in the past (like when he chased pac and his team for months forcing bob to do idiotic things like talk of building stadiums and worrying about where mayweather can get a gaurenteed purse from)

if he opts to fight someone who deserves a shot like bradley or garcia it wont be as bad but to go for khan!? as much as i like the idea of seeing mayweather against someone with speed in his arsenal i want khan to atleast earn the fight... i cant remember the last time mayweather fought someone that legitmately did not deserve a shot

Arum is full of it. He claims he wants the fight and then turns around and quickly announces Pacquiao will return in April, and says that HBO has to be involved. Pacquiao has no deal with HBO. Floyd's deal with Showtime will probably preclude them from signing off on a Showtime/HBO joint PPV.

 

im not even sure if thats true last i herd arum said he wants the fight to be made but then again what your saying sure does sound like something arum would do.

if thats the case floyd should really put the pressure on him to show he is genuinely interested in the fight. he seems to have to much pride

Don't you think Bob Arum should contact Showtime to make the fight? Of course you do not..... Floyd is supposed to call, even though Bob Arum could go directly to Showtime..... Right.

For the *******s: Floyd has a multiple fight deal with Showtime. All anybody has to do to get a fight with Mayweather is call Showtime and present them with an offer. That includes Bob Arum. Floyd can't "duck" his contract with Showtime.

If this fight doesn't happen, it will be because Bob Arum doesn't work with Showtime and will come up with another BS excuse like he always does.
