You might as well remove Bradley and Pac from your list, whilst both are under Bob Arum those fights won't happen.

 

I've said for a while Mayweather vs Broner is a fight i can see happening.

All the big brother stuff is all well and good but money's money and Floyd loves his paper and Broner's got a annoying persona and one that could entice Floyd into a final hurrah.

Floyd becoming the babyface and against Broner the heel. Floyd and his people know it's easy work. His dad has said ''he would beat the s*** outta Broner'' and when someone pressed Roger on Broner all he could say was ''he's a tough kid. Real tough..''.

I think Floyd knows if Broner can keep winning, Keep being ****y and get some good wins at WW it's a perfect fight to market. He would end it as a hero to the fans if he beat up these guy who runs his mouth.

It's how to set it up?. Well Floyd's not adverse to losing friends. Him and 50 Cent were inseparable but soon all the brotherly love went out the window and hands started flying.

Floyd may be many things but he's no fool and i don't get the impression he's as keen on Broner as Broner is on him. I see something happening over the next 12 months which forces a issue and then he will push for the big money fight with Broner.

The other fights well Bradley will try force it but Arum will push heavily for more in house TR fights.

 

Garcia/Provodnikov/Trout/Martinez.

 

Who cares about this legacy nonsense... just enjoy watching the man fight while he is still around.

 

Capturing the middleweight title would be big for his legacy: He may get the chance to face the winner of Cotto-Martinez if that happens. Although I think both are over the hill. A win vs Pac would be big still but not what it could have been, and a win over D Garcia or Broner or other young potential new generation HOF'ers would help too. Bradley also.

 

I already have Mayweather as the GOAT, but at the same time I agree with OP's line up.

How so? He's nowhere near, IMO.

I can't think of ONE GOAT candidate that has a 'Defining Win' in someone as poor as Diego Corrales (no disrespect to 'Chico') and that has avoided the top flight comp like the plague.

 

I can sort of get where your coming from about him not being ATG, although i don't agree

Floyd sr doesnt want to see him move up.

A win over the middleweight number 1 would seal his legacy and he would go down as one of the best. Beating golovkin or martinez at 160 would be an incredible feat.

 

He'll go down as one of the best ever but he would have been higher if he'd fought Pacquiao, Cotto in his prime, Margarito and Paul Williams back in the day. Maybe even tried his luck with Martinez at 154. He lacks a signature win which a lot of the top tier ATG's have, and it does hurt his legacy. His skillset can't be denied though.

If he's got four fights left I'd like to see him vs:

Pacquiao
Garcia
Bradley
Broner

Obviously I'd like to see him try his luck vs Golovkin at middleweight, but to be honest he shouldn't really be expected to start fighting 160lb'ers, he's just too small. Martinez at 154 would be good too but I don't know how long Martinez is going to be around now.

 

Well there are MANY ahead of him, so that makes me right.
