???? Swear I heard Ishida,Rosado,Stevens were STAY BUSY FIGHTS? Is that a poor excuse to fight weak opponents? His next guy he is fighting is Osumana Adama, not even ranked top 20 NOBODY heard of him smh
I'm not sure but it seems like nobody want's to fight him. Martinez, Quillin and Murray all don't seem interested. I don't see guys making him offers. Stevens wanted him, called him out and he got it.
Marvin Hagler, the baddest middleweight ever had everyone wanting to fight him. but goofy looking GGG somehow has the division petrified of fighting him? :rofl
He just wants easy pay days. He is already 31 and has beat know one. But his nuthuggers always makes excuses and call it a stay busy fight.
Didn't hagler hold all the belts? the only way to become middleweight champ or get the best payday was to fight Marvin, so of course people wanted to fight him. You think people would want to fight hagler if there were easier routes for better money to become a belt holder? Of course not. I'm not defending this fight (its a crap fight) or comparing GGG to hagler by the way before you explode at me, but I'm sure if GGG held all the belts he would be fighting better competition.
Adama is actually ranked 14 and a really tough guy. He deserved the win over Don George, never been stopped. I like the fight
Osumana Adama will crash to the canvas, his life flashing before his eyes sometime around the 4th round. :good Peter Quillin and Sergio Martinez are fleeing for the hills, they both know that their glass chins would be brutally shattered by Golden Gennady Golovkin. :yep
I think hes a bit overrated. Here is what I think a lot of people misunderstand. These guys are professional fighters, they aren't "scared". It's a matter of making intelligent business decisions. GGG right now is a threat, no doubt, how much of a threat? Not sure. However, the reward for fighting him is low and HBO is trying to build him up to make it worth the reward of passing of the torch from Martinez to him worth the risk for Martinez. I do think someone with speed and skills will beat Golovkin or give him trouble. If GGG gains more of a casual following, which I think will happen soon because he is a big puncher he will get a fight with a top rated opponent. Guy should also develop his english more to become more marketable.
