    GGG is p4p technically the best boxer on the planet.. as long as hes showcasing his skills 4 times a year I'm more than happy with that

    GGG is the only guy who gets a pass for his poor comp. Stevens then Adama? Are you serious? Its not even a debate that he could of got better opponents for these dates. A few might be ducking but their are many many contenders who would love a title shot and a decent payday. GGG is cherry-picking bums and hes getting praised for it. Its pathetic.

    He isn't getting praised for it, it takes two to tango and I seem to remember GGG calling out Martinez (the best MW).

    Anyone can call someone out. If GGG wanted it as much as he says he does am sure he'd get the fight, Looks to me like he just doesn't want to lose that 0.

    Seriously, I wish it was a better fight myself.. but people who want to hate should come up with *realistic* matchups that could have happened for this date. Monte Carlo wants to pay you a bunch of money to fight on a certain date, unless your at the PPV money levels as a fighter.. you do it. GGG is still in the 6 figure purse range, because K2 cant yet lure guys who would bring bigger paydays into the ring.

    Everyone wants to see him in unification bouts with Sergio, Quillin or Barker.. or face Murray or Rubio. Outside those guys, theres nothing he would get any credit for right now other than maybe Mora just because of the unfavorable style matchup if he still looked good there.

    So, he takes what he can get and fights often for decent but not-exactly-FMJ-level (lawl) money. Of which Monte Carlo is probably pretty good, relatively speaking. Just like any non-PPV with a pulse would do.
