Just reading that Manny's purse was $30 million for fighting Rios in China and that the money is basically tax free there. So when Floyd fans say that he should have took $40 million to fight him in Vegas where he would be taxed 40% they are basically talking rubbish as he is worth far more than that.

If I was Pacquiao, I'd fight Mayweather for free.

    $40 Million is pretty cool.

Being the greatest fighter of all time, priceless.

PAC got more $$$ than PBF he spends PESOS plus endless endorsement deals!

PBF pays his posse and other legal troubles, no endorsements!

Pac makes more money off endorsements alone than 99% of the boxers out there

arum takes 27.5% off the gross as promotional fee.

Just Google Pacquiao gets $30 million to fight Rios. Several articles will come up. He had a guarenteed purse of $18 million which was expected to rise to $30 million with PPV revenue. That works out that he comes away with $26.4 million after taxes for fighting Rios against $24 million for Mayweather. Now of course he wants the Mayweather fight but why would he let himself get ripped off by $20-30 million.

Pac has made more than 40 million in some of his bigger fights with PPV money. He's had guarantees that were 20 million+.....his PPV money is where fighters like himself and Floyd end up making most of their money. Pac was guaranteed 18 million for this fight....not 12.
