I agree that no one punches quite like Golovkin between 154 and 168, but I think we can all agree that Donovan George is a hard punching super middleweight and Adama took almost everything he threw at him... in his first fight at 168 nonetheless.

Keep in mind that I'm not an Adama fan. I'm just trying to be objective and ,frankly, I like it when deserving contenders(with interesting stories) get the same opportunities that others have gotten.

That is such a weak argument. The WBA also rate Mosley as the #6 Welter right now and I can easily name 7 or 8 guys that beat him. It is well known that all the sanctioning bodies are terrible with their rankings.

The WBC has ranked Wilder at # 3 WBC without his fighting anyone one in the top 50 plus!

Rubio's clearly got his sights set on the WBC belt, which shortened the list of potential GGG opponents even more. Vera would have been decent but he'll make more in a rematch with Junior than he would against Golovkin.

He's not a protected fighter in the same way the likes of Broner or Wilder are.

He's an avoided fighter like Kovalev is.

I think the fight will be PPV, but only around $25, so I will pay it. I paid for the PPV when Golovkin knocked out Ishima, good fight indeed.............

how the hell is Broner protected when he's fighting Maidana next in his fourth weight class? Triple ***** should jump up and fight Kovalev since you mentioned him

you're right. Donovan George knocked down Adama in their fight on the way to a UD and was the only guy to ever knock out Cornelius White (including Cruiserweights) besides... Kovalev.

so triple G has ample room to impress in this fight, be the first to knock this guy out.

Good to hear Golovkin is returning in April on HBO. It sure seems like they are trying to set up a fight with Murray. Hopefully next year will be another four fight campaign for GGG.

GGG is a joke and the fans are totally right to be pissed off with him.

Why is this guy getting so much hype? He's fighting scrubs.

because he's highly skilled, always pressures, is a knockout artist, has the tenacity of a Roberto Duran, and destroys these 'scrubs' worse than anyone else ever has. the whole division is scrubs except for Martinez, and he wants nothing to do with triple G either.

You can put sugar on it all you want, but beating a scrub worse than anyone else is still beating a scrub.

that's true. Golovkin might just be very good, but also maybe great, or even phenomenal. if this were known precisely already there'd be no drama in backing him. that's the fun of being a fan, placing your bets for the hope and thrill of victory. imo, his skillset justifies my faith in him. i'm well aware his greatness isn't an established fact yet.
