Floyd Mayweather should fight the winner of Trout-Lara the spring of 2014. And the fight should be at 154, it isn't fair if he fights for a 154 championship and makes the opponent drain down to 150.

Mayweather vs. Amir Khan is an absurd mismatch, considering Floyd is the #1 p4p boxer in the world and only fights once or twice a year.

There are better fighters for Floyd at 147 too: Bradley, Provodnikov, and of course Pacquiao. Danny Garcia could move up to 147. Even the winner of Alexander-Porter or Thurman-Karass would be a tougher opponent than the fragile Amir Khan.

1st off, who did he ever fight at 150? Thats Pac. 2nd, we dont know who he's fighting yet. 3rd, half of those guys you named are with TR/HBO so its not happening yet. Also, I could care less about the 154 crap. Just the fight being made is good enough. Would you rather have the fight at 152 or not have it at all? I wont cry for anyone who has a huge size advantage in a fight

You think Provo is a good scrap for Floyd? Why cause he's tough and can take a punch? Face it...whoever he fights people will find something to ***** about.

I didn't say he'd be a good fight for Floyd, I said he would be a better than Amir Khan.

Provodnikov would last the distance and make Floyd work hard. Khan would be an easy night's work for Mayweather and be knocked out.

Floyd should fight Bradley in May and unify (I know it's not possible) and then defend his LMW title in September vs Lara/Trout

Khan would be harder than Provo

At least Khan has some very good speed height and reach..this would make Floyd work a little

Provo just can take a punch...he would be target practice for 12 rounds

any fight at 154 would be floyds size advantage, he will show up fight night at 148 and use the extra speed to run and pot shot all night. like a little weasel.

Believe it or not, I think Floyd-Lara is a definite possibility in '15 but Lara's probably gonna have to get through Trout, Angulo II AND Canelo to make it happen.

He might have been heavier back then but not now. He has been 150 for a few fights now.

:patsch people are really overrating Khan, Peterson dealt with his speed and Garcia timed him in 3 rounds

Not going to happen because the winner of this fight will be too risky.

    the hell you talkin about?

Khan's height, reach and speed would be more troublesome than anything Provo could ever do....

You tell me what Provo does that would give Floyd more trouble?

Floyd vs Lara - Trout winner @ 154 is one of the few fights that intrigues me especially if Lara beats Trout.

The problem is the winner of this match has to beat someone known as Canelo / Cotto to be 'eligible' and legit for a PPV fight with Floyd. :good
