his promoter must suck balls if #14 ranked WBA garbage is all he can get in the way of opponents. he is the least intimidating looking guy in and out of the ring. its not like he has a Nigel Benn menacing look or power.

Martinez, Quillin, Barker etc are in no hurry to fight Golovkin, that much is obvious

Golovkin needs to be more proactive in calling these guys out tho and demanding the big fights

GGG just wants to take non risky fights and get paid just like Wlad. If GGG were black they would be claiming he is to scared to step up like they do Wilder.

how about he go down and actually make some noise there. Those guys definitely wouldn't fight GGG now because he's a damn middleweight

Icewoman71 is now hung up on appearance. Did you also notice Golovkin's robe never matches his trunks? Perhaps that can be your next crusade against the man.

He says he can fight at 154.

He has fought a ton of 154 pounders, but never at 154...

Does it take a rocket scientist to figure out why?

Because he will NEVER fight at 154.

The bottom line is that GGG's fights don't generate enough money for him to strike a deal with a "headliner" type of fighter. GGG can't get compensated more than he already does for fighting fringe contenders AND be able to compensate another headliner more than they usually make.

Otherwise, you would see these top fighters fighting him. Everything is about the profit.

you are talking about the risk vs. reward equation and completely left out the risk part of it.

Top fighters draw their own revenue to the fight, any top fighter that picked Golovkin would be able to generate a big payday for themselves, but also get destroyed most likely, and ruin future big payday opportunities. Anyone that doesn't eat crayons can figure that out.
