The ONLY reason Floyd Mayweather jr is not universally recognized as one of the ATG's of the sport is............ Purely his own fault
If he's not ducked and cherrypicked & had fought Paquaio, Margarito, Williams etc he may well have beaten them all. Everyone , even including me , would be singing his praises. Shoot even if he lost a couple his legacy would be far better than it is now.
He will never be regarded as any more than a very talented boxer who did not live up to his talents potential

    I rest my case

    Pac is a roided fraud!

He pretty much drained all the decent fighters and lost to JMM 3/4 times!!!!

Saddening. Once he got away from his PEDS, he never had a KO!!!

    Coincidence? I think not!

After Margarito stopped using WRAPS, he never had a meaningful victory again.

    Coincidence? I think not!

Pac is #95 on my ATG LIST~!!!

People still stuck on "Floyd/Pac is fighting a better opponent than Pac/Floyd"???

    Like it actually matters.

    Mayweather beats Khan easily.

When it comes to boxing IQ, it's like Albert Einstein vs. Forrest Gump.

I've always laughed when people say "Khan is a tough stylistic matchup for Mayweather".

He's simply a guy with some range and speed with about 1/100000000th of the ring skills, intelligence and instincts of Mayweather.

It's not like there's a lot of good matches to make though, so whatever.

The over/under on how many rounds Khan wins should be 1.5

Adding, Khan is horrible on the inside, where much of this fight will be fought.

Footwork and timing will secure an easy victory for Floyd in that fight. I'm not even interested in seeing it. I watched Peterson box Khan's pants off and beat him up. Easy work for Floyd. :deal

Listen son, I have to admit, this is one of the most stupid questions/remarks Ive ever heard. Not just on the internet, but overall in my life.

    But ill answer it anyway.

Arum should initiate the negotiations...because he just said that he wants to make the fight happen.

People who want something go out and make it happen, they dont wait around for someone else to do it for them.

Its ok if you dont get at first, in time, it will come.

Nobody can give Mayweather a tougher fight, that's why this fight will be very popular. Pacquiao will knock out Floyd.

so agree floyd/s camp dont want the fight?

i dont really care either way. its negotiations. im not going to be part of this shat. if they agree they agree. at what percentage of the split, its on them. im not getting any.

ill believe it when the fight is reportedly signed.

i wont be excited until both are in the ring.

mayweather can still be injured, you know.
