However, I don't think Rios would struggle with a guy like Diaz. Rios would at least never stop trying and if he managed to pin Floyd, could do some damage.

I think Rios would be more prone to let his hands go against Mayweather too, but you never know.

Either way, it's a bad fight.

I still don't think Floyd is fighting Khan. You have Devon and several other guys fighting this month and Floyd could choose any of them. Also in terms of money wise it really doesn't matter who Floyd fights now after Canelo. I think the casuals just want to see him box now and admire his craft more than ever.

That's probably the hardest fight to sell.

 

I think it will be Khan. You're right though, this fight is like the Guerrero fight, a filler for a bigger fight.

I think Floyd v Manny happens in September for sure. With Arum basically begging to negotiate and SHO execs wanting the fight to happen, Mayweather v Pacquiao will happen. SHO can't afford two of these filler fights in a row.

 

I think you have casuals confused with die hard boxing fans.

I don't like the fight. I prefer PBF-Alexander with that said there's no one to fight right now. Danny hasn't even fought at 147 yet and they don't want to fight PBF. He's not fighting Broner. Pac is fighting in April. So that leaves only a Cotto rematch or Khan.

 

Garcia would've been more deserving but I could honestly think of worse. Khan is barely ever in a bad fight.
