God I love the idea of Bob Arum losing a shitload of money. Probably didn't happen, but a man can dream.

Pac got his guarantee and I'm sure TR was prepared for this:

The pay-per-view did between 500,000 and 600,000 buys, he said, which is under previous Pacquiao efforts. But, he noted, the fact that the Macau hosts, Sands China, compensated Top Rank so handsomely for the privilege of staging the event that he isn't dismayed by the numbers decrease.

Glad you admitted that. I'll be sure to remember this post if Floyd ever tries to cherrypick a win over Pacquiao.

Not with 5 dollar streaming. That's like trying to cash out on 5 cent slots at the casino.

    Mayweather-Khan does a mil.

He almost did a mil with a NO NAME Guerrero. No one outside of the boxing circle knew who Guerrero was.

Khan has a decent following. Mayweather-Khan will do 1.3 maybe 1.4

They didn't sell PPV in China. Nobody cared about this fight and Roach even had to try and sell this fight by going on a racist rant while cameras were conveniently placed all around him.

Why are people venting on Pacquiao? he's everything thats been good about boxing over the last 10 years, has been in some great ring wars and always tried to provide entertainment for the fans even if it's meant risk losing.

How any boxing fan can hate on Pac is mindboggling, he's a true ring warrior and i have nothing but respect and admiration for the way he boxes and conducts himself inside and outside of the ring.

It's actually pathetic and just shows what sad lives people must lead to attack him with some kind of vendetta just to make themselves feel better or to have some blind devotion to another boxer.

As for the low PPV figures for Pac-Rios, i'm glad Arum got stung on it as fans will no longer be suckers for crappy undercards so unless he starts putting on at least 2 great undercard fights along with an attractive Main fight then hopefully he'll keep getting stung until he learns his lesson.

Manny has represented everything that is wrong with boxing. He was a hype job from the get. He didn't deserve FOTD and his 8 weight division accomplishment is a **** stain on boxings rich history. The guy is also most likely a drug cheat as well. His fights are nothing more than cheap thrills watching a guy with over rated skill beat the **** out of punching bags or declined fighters with a name who are low hanging fruit. His sales figures have been hyped up as well as his personality since he's a supposed to be a "humble god fearing Christian" while being a coke snorting, gambling hypocrite who gets prostitutes pregnant. He's a hype job and it's caught up with him. All he has left to do is get completely exposed by Floyd then he should call it a career.

Floyd was never going to credit for beating him anyways so he might as well get paid and take the ass beating from Floyd.

Bad numbers. Goes to show that a KO loss like the one Manny suffered really hurt his stock. With the dominant win it will be interesting to see what his PPV numbers look like next time around.
