Both fights are good but yeah, it was awkward. There's only one fight everybody wants to see at the moment.
I get what he was doing, dude wants $$$. But unfortunately unless Carl fights him in North America, that fight isnt doing a damn thing on ppv (i dont even know NA helps it sell better to be honest haha) and Hopkins vs Stevenson is demanded by literally no one....Plus with Nard on Showtime, it will never happen. I REALLY want that kovalev fight to happen.
A non-scientific survey made by a local sport chanel put Froch and Hopkins as boxers the fans wanted to Stevenson fight against. Right after seeing Kovalev, they have probably changed their mind. Kovalev-Stevenson makes total sense in fan perspective.
Instead of Froch, Stevenson shoulda called out Andre Ward. But Andre Ward will stay hidden at 168 and call out Chavez Jr Hahahahaha.
Don't blame him for wanting a money fight, he's 36. Plus, would you want to get in the ring with Kovalev? He seems to enjoy hurting people.
Stevenson did call out Ward, but Ward ran away and hid.................This time Stevenson called out Froch or Hopkins, he wants no part of Kovalev. Hopkins said he would never fight Kovalev of Stevenson. Kovalev was Hopkins' mandatory, yet Hopkins refused to fight him.............
Plus Kovalev has already killed someone in the ring, considering his last few fights he doesn't seem to be too perturbed by this. A worry for who ever faces him.
