Bottom line......poor US PPV numbers for Manny. That means his stock has taken a hit because of the dramatic knock out loss to Juan and his highly questionable loss to Bradley.

There's definitely factors such as this being a foreign event which impacted the overall numbers..... not to mention a shitty undercard and of course the fact that Brandon was a virtual unknown who most gave very little chance in pullin off the upset.

What will be telling is how Pac's Domestic PPV numbers look like when he returns in April.? He's coming off a dominant victory where he looked great and I think Bob said it would be a US event this time.

No one should really be surprised that Manny's PPV numbers have dipped...all things considered. I'm definitely interested in seeing Manny return coming off his best performance in years. There were glimpses of that "old PAC" in the 4th fight with Juan..... But it ended abruptly in case anyone forgot.

 

i said inorder for him to control his finances/business, he needs to keep winning as his overall appeal comes from him being undefeated.

it is widely acknowledged that the bulk of his ppv buys comes from his haters and/or fans of his opponents who buy in the hope their guy ko him.

so the only way going forward is to keep winning aka cherry picking.

in contrast, i mentioned dela hoya was the best model because he fights anyone. his popularity never really waned even after losing.

and why would you cite floyd and not dela hoya. it is not like floyd is doing something new. he just copied dela hoya.

unfortunately, where dela hoya leveraged his power in the negotiating table to get the fight he wants, floyd completey do the opposite: leverage his power to not fight the fights he doesnt want.

i dont want that model in the future.

Not even close. I've NEVER made a thread about Floyd BUT *******s do. In fact, I don't even read about Floyd unless I'm in these forums. Frankly, I could care less what he does outside of the ring.
