I hate this idea that if you turn off the sound you suddenly see a whole different fight. If that is the case then you can't score a fight well in the first place. A lot of the time when people look back on a fight to score it again, they have an agenda, even if it isn't a conscious one, and start to lean towards giving it to on guy or another as if to prove it wasn't a robbery. It just ends up being biased for the guy the commentators are supposedly biased against. Almost all press row scores had it for Pacquaio, 47-1. Didn't Bradley after the fight before the results were announced say he tried his best but he couldn't beat him. I think this is a clear win for Pacquaio.
WE? How many of you are typing this? This may surprise some of you, but I know he is not saying my head was literally up my ass while watching the fight or that having ones head up their own ass is an "itits" However he is being very rude to the people like me and the thread starter who think Bradley edged it, would you agree? I'm not sure what he's so aggressive and angry about, why can't you accept we see the fight different from you, especially when the sound is off. Can't you live and let live? This is why you get called a *******.
Don't knock it till you tried it. It's opened up a whole new world for me, a world I never knew existed. I think all the official judges should be deaf or at least very hard of hearing. It might clean up the sport.
I'm not pretending to be anything, buddy. Let me tell you here and now I am a Bradley fanboy and proud. When he fought that other asian fellow, I was on the edge of my seat. But now I'm worried because I know if I revisit it with the sound off, I may see somthing I don't want to see....
Tim did not win the last three rounds. That's the dumbest **** anyone has said on this forum. It was either the 10th or the 11th where Pacquaio hit Timmy so hard, his head spun around like the excorcist. Since when does an arm punch jab that lands on your gloves constitute a win? I saw the fight twice. I saw i the second time trying to find a way to score the fight for Bradley. And at MOST, I could only give him 4 rounds, and that's a hell of a stretch. More likely he won 2 rounds. And if this wasn't a robbery, nobody would ever mention this fight again because it wasn't close. The only reason people say Bradley won is because he robbed Pacquaio...and actually won the judge's decision. But if he hadn't, ask yourself, would you ever mention this fight again? Not just no, but HELL NO.
I have tried it (not for Bradley - Pacquaio, but for others) and it made no difference. Maybe I'm just a better scorer than you. Clean up the sport? So what if the judges couldn't hear the supposed bias for Pacquaio they would have probably scored it a shutout to Bradley, by your logic
Also, you should be allowed to hear the punches. Are you all idiots? Think about it like this. When you hear a guy SNAP the hell out of a punching bag, and you hear another punch it with a dull thud, the guy that SNAPS the hell out of the punching bag is ALWAYS the harder puncher in the fight. So, you should listen to the sounds of punches because some punches are HARDER. Should a weak punch be given as much credit as a hard punch? Hell no. This is not amateur boxing.
It was a robbery, not close whatsoever and I am not hating on Tim, I like him and I thought he won against Provodnikov but against Pacquiao he lost.
You got it all wrong dude, by not hearing the sound, you can see that punches that appeared to hit Bradley, snap his head, knock him off balance, and produce sweat clouds...in fact were only hitting air. Unless your Nay-Sayer he can see the air with the sound on. He's special.
Agree 100%, Pac won clearly, I am a Bradley fan. I also believe that fans should accept the win on Bradley's record though because Pac refused the immediate rematch which was offered.
It was not a close fight. Bradley never got close to even making an impact on Manny. There was no doubt, even to Bradley when that fight was over, who won.
