If Puluv claims he is not ready , how is he still mando? The Klit nuthuggers can't answer and just make excuses for Wlad for taking the easier fight and blaming it on the other guy as usual.

Lepai apparently is injured and can't start training till Januray.

    Puluv just released this statment

The fact of the matter is Wlad would rather wait for Lepai to recover rather than step in the ring with Pulev.

Wlad is receiving a lot of criticism for this defence for 2 reasons. Firstly his last fight was horrible to watch and Leapai has a style where he ducks down very low, nobody expects this fight to be watchable. This will be another clinch fest.

The 2nd reason is that this is another weak defence against another over matched opponent. In the last 2.5 years Wlad has only fought one opponent who was worthy and that was Povetkin. Pianeta, Mormeck and Wach had no business fighting for the title just like Leapai and Thompson was no threat as proven by their first fight.

I want to like Wlad, outside of the ring he could not be more likeable or charming. I enjoyed his fights against Thompson, Wach and Pianeta, even though they were mismatches they were actually entertaining. He was more aggressive and more entertaining, I was actually starting to look forward to Wlad's fights but then the Povetkin fight ruined a good string of performances and I have no desire to see him fight Leapai, none at all.

Thompson gave Wlad his toughest fight since Sam Peter 1.

Not more of a disgrace when Vaughn Bean made the fight twice, once vs Holyfield, another vs Moorer. And certainly not as disgraceful as Mavrovic.:think

He hasn't had one, but neither would Pulev or Fury if they fought his competition.

I know he hasn't had a tougher fight than Thompson, That's why I brought it up.

I forgot, Wlad is free to do whatever he wants. He has avoided dozens of mandatory fights.

$$$$$ talks same reason why Vitali can hold the belt for so long and why Roy Jones was automatically made champion, soon as K2 reached out to Leapai after the fight expressing interest, his mandatory position was sealed

There's probably more $ to be made fighting Pulev.

Well the WBC probably stands to make more $ with Vitali as their champ assuming Vitali fights again.

    What?

I don't recall this. The WBO ordered a purse bid be made. The IBF hasn't.
