    Source/Link here -

Carl Froch has told Ringside that he doesn't want to go over old ground and rematch Groves.

He's a bit of a hypocrite really as he wants Ward to rematch him (even though he was beaten comprehensively) -

Why should Ward go over old ground? Nobody really wants to see that fight anyway.

The option for Carl is simple: #RematchOrRetire

He might just want that Bute payday before retirement.
If Bute beats Pascal, Showtime still owes Bute 2 million for a fight.....we may just get Bute Froch 2.:think

Beating Groves again would do very little for Froch's legacy, because then he just beat another unknown but very good contender. Beating Ward however in a rematch would elevate Froch's legacy tremendously.

    He would undoubtedly lose though.

Styles make fights, and while I think Froch beats everyone that Ward beats, and more, I just don't see his style as effective vs Ward.

I used to like Froch for this, but he tagged Ward with some solid R hands in their first fight....I thought Ward would be KTFO, but Ward has shown a much better chin than I originally gave him credit for.:think

I'm not thinking it, but somewhere someone is:

"Is George Groves going to Vitali Klitschko Carl Froch?!?!"

Why should Ward rematch Froch though? How will that benefit Ward's legacy?

If we are talking paydays - then he only has one option: Rematch Groves!

Carl's legacy will be tarnished if he doesn't rematch Groves -

    Both unwinnable fights for Froch.

He wants another payday, and doesnt want to go out on an L.

His best option would be to bring Adonis back down to SMW and KHTFO. That would be a career definer and close a surefire top 10 ATG legacy.:deal

Beating Groves in a rematch would undo some of the negative that came with the performance in their first fight along with beating a top 5 SMW...

It does a lot for his legacy. It can do more for his legacy now than a decisive victory could have done for his legacy in the first fight... However he would have been better off just winning the first in better fashion as that already will stain his resume for eternity, regardless of to what degree.

Froch will get owned badly by Ward now that he has 2 hands

Froch is a ***** for avoiding Groves and should retire

    Disgrace to British boxing

A Ward rematch will be in America. Froch fans can cry about this all year but Ward won't be interested in mistakenly tripping only to see the referee wave the fight off for Froch. His best option is to rematch Groves, the stoppage was a complete farce so why end the fight this way?

Not exactly, what I was thinking was this. "Is Carl Froch going to Lennox Lewis George Groves?".

You're probably right but you're underestimating Froch's ego. He think he can beat Ward, it's a no-brainer to him. And in his mind he already beat Groves, an internationally unknown contender. What reason would he have to fight Groves again, if it wasn't for the paycheck.

If a Ward fight can be made then I have no doubt that Froch will chose him over Groves, if the financials are similar.

Has nothing to do with ego, it's called brains to be honest. He thinks he can beat Ward in England which is why he's demanding it takes place there.
