Both Ortiz and Guerrero were more competitive then Clottey was in his fight against Pac. They at least have the distinction of trying to win the fight.

But was it laughed away as a joke fight when it was announced? No. Because Clottey had made it to contender status and contenders have to be fought.

 

I am predicting that Pacquiao and Mayweather will fight in Sep of 2014. Mayweather will beat Khan and Pacquiao will beat Bradley to set up a super fight that will break PPV records in Sep. Pacquiao will show the world why he's the ATG. Pacquiao will beat Mayweather by KO!

paq would get utterly pummeled by floyd and stopped late. he will eat clean shots all night and they wont have to be all counters,, floyd would be on the attack and be landing clean straight right and left hooks while manny is at perfect range for floyd.

paq wouldnt ever get close enough to land anything, he will be on the outside getting hit left and right. by the 3rd 4th round he punch output would be completly nullyfied while getting stopped on cuts or from being pummeled in a corner..

easist fight for floyd out of ALL the top teir fights. arum in 100% the reason this fight has been stalemate for 3/4 years and he will continue to be the reason until paq mans up like he should have when he was recently free from arum. the phukin idiot was a free agent and knew thats how he could get the fight done easily only to sign right back up to the contract that keeps him from another beating

I have come to the conclusion that this fight is not happening at all and they are all at fault.

Its for damn sure not happening this year with all of Manny's outside the ring issues. Arum and Koncz are screwing him big time and he needs to hire an independent company to come save him bc Arum and Koncz are robbing him. That is clear as day.

The problem though is Manny is too dumb to be his own man and take action. His ass will sign an extension with Arum no later than June 31st bc he will still owe Arum from all the advances etc. Fight isn't happening.

 

Pacquiao will have to accept like 30-35% of the purse, if that, to get a fight with Mayweather after his dismal PPV showing with Rios.

Pretty much how I see it going :deal I can't see what Pac can do to beat Floyd, he just hasn't the style to beat Floyd unless of course Floyd ages overnight, which even then is a ****ing long shot!
