Yeah. Neither round has been dominant, but they are ones he is comfortably taking without needing the benefit of being the house guy or adages like "the challenger needs to seize it..."

 

Round 3

Vetyeka is bending over and jabbing the body. John moves in and thuds home some body shots. The ref warns both for rough stuff on the inside. 1-2 by John, hurting Vetyeka and backing him into the ropes. Vetyeka is tying up and working a free hand into John's ribs, but is wrestled off.

Vetyeka seems like he wants to invest more into body punching, which should punch his ticket and make John come apart later on, but John is upping the pace and making him tentative and indecisive every time he starts putting shots together down there.

 

Round 4

Vetyeka is looking strong, jabbing into Vetyeka's face and then hammering down with the right hand. Body jabs and left hooks up top by John stepping forward. Vetyeka is dipping and slipping punches, countering with lead rights between the eyes and slapping with the left hook as he backs up. Vetyeka is scoring well but consistently getting moved backward. Body shots and clubbing rights behind the neck by John as they clinch up. Vetyeka sticks a jab from outside and then darts in with a right on the belt, ducking under a John jab in the process.

10-9 John, nice round for Vetyeka though.

Round 5

Vetyeka is throwing right hands leads and left hooks to the body as John comes forward. Jabs from the tight guard by John, moving straight into Vetyeka. Rabbit punch by Vetyeka and John goes down. Ruled a slip. John is dazed. Vetyeka is laying it on, hooking John in the head and sides. John is hurt. John holds. John down again, slip again.
