This clown's team need to think of other excuses to keep him relevant in the sport. Since he entered boxing every time someone sacks him he blames the weight and the trainer.

I regularly run a lot longer than 6 miles and it sure doesn't make me drop 13 Pounds. Even factoring in the workout, it just doesn't sound right.

Don't worry, very few do know. Fact is, Khan has been blaming weight and trainers his entire career so his comical(and typical) excuse is irrelevant. Every time someone sacks him he blames the division and his trainer. He wanted Diaz to move down to 142 and almost got killed, was he being drained even though he requested the catchweight and was moving up?

While punch resistance has a lot to do with conditioning and ability to make weight, in Khan's case it has nothing to do with both. He just can't take a punch and is using these excuses to resume his career as he's supposed to which is understandable, but to really believe his excuses is pathetic.

Most on here seem clueless about weight cutting,13 pounds is not even a serious drop for 24 hours, one tenth of your body weight is considered a safe and easily acheivable water weight cut with closer to 20 pounds being easily enough done.

A guy I train with drops from 80kg to 70 kg and back to 80kg before bed after the weigh ins and it only takes a bit of discipline and a few hours of sweating, weight cutting is a science.

13lbs is not that excessive, but I don't buy it as true anyway. Khan was outweighed by both Peterson and Garcia on the night, and looked the smaller, weaker man. This whole thing about him being big for the weight is a myth.

Cutting weight is part of an elite fighter's skillset, and you have to be pretty exceptional to get away without it. The way Khan talks, you'd think he was the only fighter who was squeezing himself down to the lowest weight he could. All the evidence just points to him not being very good at cutting weight, whether that be for physical or mental reasons, or a combination of the two.

From what I've read on weight cutting, dropping 15 Pounds in a week is certainly achievable - though unpleasant. But 13 Pounds in 24 hours sounds like a lot.

im not sure at all about khans chin for real.. those 2 KO's he was phukin drilled cleanly with multiple hard shots and was never out completely, he is always stopped by the ref. havent seen him paq'D face first or flat on his back for the count.

obviously its not one of his strengths but people claim ( and fighters have said such ) that maidaina is a really heavy hitter. how the phuk was khan able to take those clean bombs and finish that fight strongly. nevermind the 10th, that was bad but he took shots from the 5/6 on.

i dont know about him but training makes or breaks chins in general. there are so many fighters with way worse chins than him yet only he gets crucified due to being KO'd twice and by 2 visous punchers. yet people like paq who have been laid out flat more times by far far weaker punchers gets chin praise. i know paq doesnt have a weak chin at all but he had been laid out clean by single shots by no big punchers.

double standard for everything on here. there was just a thread about SRL and how he ducked and cherry picked and most were saying well he was over 30 so it was ok for him to only fight the money fights..

my god, guys need to pick a lane and stay in that lane for everything and everybody. not like that would ever happen. its all bias here and all that matters is for people to strengthen whatever stance they have with utter bullshite

that is severe dehydration, no doubt it has an effect on stamina, strength and punch resistance.
