Bellews first fight at cruiserweight?

Conquest and Simmons are both with Matchroom and could be easy to make. Afolabi would be a great test. Plenty of journeymen types out there as well. In fact, once you get past the top two (Huck, Hernandez and Jones) the division is pretty flimsy.

Afolabi would be a loss in my opinion. The guys better p4p really. Dickinson would be interesting if Jon-Lewis can take his power he would win a clear decision.

 

Someone who can't punch will be his opponent and rightfully so.

It's a awkward weight because of the jump in size of opponents and your own physical development.

I don't think he needs a fight at domestic level in all honesty. I think he needs a international fight with a guy who's got some worth but without being thrown in to deep.

I'd say a March fight with Eric Fields then gauge the performance and aftermath physically. Then possibly a summer fight with Janik who just lost to Ola Afolabi.

Then by this time next year i'd look for a likes of Ola who hasn't looked overly impressive of late. I wouldn't guide Tony to a fight with Ola until i'm sure he's physically right.

It's going to be a years process, I would be shocked if he's fighting for a world title before December 2014. Maybe this time next year he may have chance but i'd say early 2015 is more realistic for a final assault on a world title.
