Na man Barker fought super defensively vs Sergio.
He came out and tried to fight instead of box tonight, and got embarrassed.

No i score going to the body, but if they land close number of punches i go with the one that does the more damage, i have seen Barker had problem with Sturms punches more than other way around, this was clear to me Barker was bothered by Sturms power from the first punch!

WTF Happened to Barker though i mean he looked awful in there, terrible tactics, granted he may have hurt his hip but before that he was getting rocked and banged up, Barker should fight the domestic guys now, but man why was he so awful tonight, i wonder was he unfit going in he looked very unprepared and like a deer in headlights.

What I take away from this fight...That Geale (no, not a typo) isn't what he was made out to be.

There was a rematch clause in the contract. So there will most likely be a rematch in England.

Golovkin should walk into the ring, confront Sturm and ask him to fight him.

Good for them. I don't really care. I can see the case for Sturm but there is a case for Barker unless you completely devalue body punching (and if you've ever given a round on work rate but claim there is no case for Barker in the 1st, you're a hypocrite)

He just tried to fight the wrong kind of fight. Throwing quality over quality and thinking he could walk through Strum. And he probably wasn't prepared fully: the Geale fight wasn't very long ago and I thought it was early to have his first defense in what the formbook said was a 50-50 fight with Strum probably having more motivation and more on the line. And home advantage.

Take no notice of them. If you get off to the better start in the first 5 seconds, it turns into a cheer leading exercise.

A fat, pudgy Oscar De La Hoya went all 12 with Sturm and probably won at least 4 rounds.
