I think Joe senses his struggles with Pryce show weakness in Rabchenko. I think Smith needs another fight but maybe he fancies it on this form and why not.

    You watch:

Martin Murray will take Barker's place for the rematch. Sturm vs Murray II in Germany. Makes sense with Ricky working with Eddie..

Sturm was Barker's Mandatory you fool, no rematch clause and Sturm can make any defence he wants now.

Getting irritated already by the "Barker's injuries...."

Barker got stopped, end of. Sturm is the better fighter.

Yeah TBH he hit Sturm with a uppercut and went after him so i don't buy to much into the Round 1 he was on last legs stuff i think it was there but not to the effect that he drops hands and sits there asking for right hand to ear. I think his tactics were sloppy from the very get go.

Not Sims fault, Barker admitted after Geale he didn't listen.

    Sturm wanted it bad tonight.

    Agreed.

    Sturm destroyed him easily.

Why does it irritate you when they're obviously relevant? An injury is a debilitating factor. Turns out his hip was tweaked in the first round - pretty gutted for him.

Barker has fallen in love a little bit with dipping - leaning to the right - and slinging in the quick right (sometimes doubling up on it as well), and Sturm's camp obviously picked up on it. Barker had shown against Martinez that he's vulnerable to those cuffing shots around the ear as well.

BTW still a massive Barker fan he can be proud of his career. Just annoyed at him not listening to Sims but still a big fan.

I don't fight for him so i can't hate him it's his career and he must be in awful lot of pain with the hip.

I wanted Barker to win, didn't believe he was going to win but was sitting here my fingers crossed for him.

Barker was starting to get his ass handed to him, Barker tried to lay it on Sturm and as soon as he got hurt he was looking for a way out in my opinion.

He walked back to the dressing with a dislocated hip, I'm not having it, just my opinion.

Barker shouldn't blame a hip injury for that defeat, i'm having flashbacks to David Hayes toe... the chopping right hand to the side of the head that wobbled him was the beginning of the end.

Boxnation card has produced good fights and knockouts.

Looking foward to Matthews fight now, should be a good one.
