These fighters now days could stand to learn a thing or two in terms of excitement and personality from Money May.

Rigondeaux is relevant historically and they are evolutionarily fodder

blame agbeko for not doing a damn thing and lara/trout was exciting for the hardcore boxing fans. Judah also didn't do a damn thing

 

Mayweather defiantly outdoes the likes of Ward and Rigondeaux in charisma stakes.

Those boys need to start calling their opponents mum's ****s or something in the build up... :think

 

Lara vs Trout was not even close of exciting and I'm a huge hardcore boxing fan. Most Cuban fighters are known to put fans to sleep like lara/rigo and abril. All those 3 especially the top 2 in lara/rigo will never be ppv stars because of their style and their personality sucks.

 

I think the Lara- Trout fight being dull was Trout's fault more so than Lara's. He was trying to outbox a better boxer than him and when it was evident he couldn't he should've tried something different.

 

I thought Lara-Trout was fun, didn't find that boring, however Rigo-Agbeko fight was a bit boring, mainly due to Agbeko not doing anything though.

 

I dunno, people say Rigo and Mayweather are boring but for me Lara takes it to another level and shouldn't be compared to the other two.

Rigo and Mayweather aren't setting any compubox records by any means but they fight for the center of the ring, stay in the pocket for extended periods of time, fight back and gain the momentum back if they do happen to get tagged by a good shot.

Lara just seems to try his hardest not to get hit, EVER. He is the equivalent to a forum troll in the ring doing more to get under your skin and **** you off then actually hurting you. Waiting until the coast is perfectly clear and your guard is down before throwing a punch, then runs to the other side of the ring.

 

you just defined boxing if you don't like it then find another sport to watch

 

Rigo is prob the most skilled and most boring I've ever seen.

 

For as long as I've been into the sport I just might find another if my options were limited to watching Lara or giving up the sport altogether. Sorry dude, he's boring. Get over it.
