I think a win over Canelo is what stands between a Floyd vs Lara match @ 154 or 152 lbs.

Lara would be a really legit & difficult opponent for Floyd. This is the fight I want to see, preferable @ 154 lbs - NO catchweight. :yep

No chance Canelo fights Lara any time soon.

Canelo's fighting Molina. That's an easier fight for him, and he can win the IBF belt.

Lara is improving all the time, that's what happens when you face decent fighters in your 1st 20bouts instead of padding a record, Lara's a fighter who couldn't give 2 shits about his losses, draws, he fights the best available to him and he would give anyone massive problems

Well, both Lara or Molina are very difficult match-ups for Canelo. But it's those fights plus Kirkland and Trout rematch, the only fights that are acceptable main event fights. Canelo is past his honeymoon period. I'd say from these match-ups, Kirkland is probably the easiest fight. But undoubtedly, all of them are very dangerous.

No way they would risk a fight like that because they want canelo to appeal to average fans so That he sells ppv numbers. Against Lara - win or lose - it would be a tactical battle and that's the last things the mexican audience wants to pay for.

Make it happen. Lara will knock out Canelo and then he'll knock out Cotto and Martinez.

If Cotto goes for Martinez, which I think he will/should, then the obvious matchup is Alvarez/Lara with the winner getting Mayweather next year. IMO Lara is the only guy that can give Mayweather some problems right now.
