Sturm won't fight outside of Germany these days. He sells out 10k+ venues and has a million EUR TV contract with his German station. Why on earth would Sturm fight outside of this money-printing machine he has created?

x2 no way he fights out of Germany unless he is offered silly money to fight in the USA he has got a nice little number going where he is.

A well below par Sturm, barely going through the motions, comprehensively outpointed your overrated hero, "Mulloker" Murray.

Matthew Macklin remains the only one of the three British Isles lads to have beaten Sturm, thereby cementing his place as undenibly the best middleweight in Britain/Ireland.
Now that Sturm has rededicated himself to the sport, a second fight with Murray makes even less sense than the first one did.
Murray is happliy back where he belongs, fighting middle-aged Russian Roadsweepers. Get used to it.

Well Sturm would be an idiot to fight in the UK with the notorious "British stoppages", the man would be head locked in no time to "save his life"

    and have his title robbed.

So where do you suggest ?

I suggest Sturm fights wherever the **** he wants.
Check my post and you will see its in response to a DKSAB who posted that Murray fought him outside Germany.
As for the Brit stoppages, can't agree more and after the recent debacles its going to be hard to justify calling for big fights on these shores.

On the flip side you have Mag in a coma and Tapia having issues after US ref letting it go on too long, we need to find the right balance.

I agree,Tapias was a shocker both from a corner perspective and ref but it really is one extreme to the other. I like to think corruption in officials is minimal but with some of our stoppages and judging lately it makes you wonder.

I posted that Murray already did step up...:-( and got spanked!
    Never mentioned the location, dummy.
Not that a short plane flight will make Murray better than Sturm anyway.
Given how spot on Ive been about fights over the years, I must be the luckiest, flukiest "full ******" who "DKSAB" around.
    Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket....:hi:

Sturm has it all fine and dandy fighting over in Germany... earning a mint and selling out big venues. Not a chance he'll give that up.

As for Murray/Sturm and Macklin/Sturm... I though Macklin beat him, Sturm beat Murray. Both fairly close fights though.
