Why else would showtime have khan on as commentary??!?? come on!

To get audiences aware of this guy! There is no other reason.

They also alluded to it at least five time saying "a potentially big fight on your horizon amir"

this fight is signed sealed delivered.

 

Anyone who still doesn't believe a Mayweather v Khan fight is happening next May are deluded and are in denial. I've said before there is no smoke without fire. Here in the UK there is every expectation that confirmation of the fight is imminent. It may not be confirmed next week but I don't think we'll be waiting for much longer imo.

 

Everybody is worried about PPV sales, but if Guerrero sold 900k or whatever it was, a Khan fight could do 1 mill. It's not out of the realm of possibility.

Floyd's options are, indeed, limited.

I hate the fight but have accepted that it's happening. Hope it bombs on ppv.

Funny, but really, i'd rather slap my mom then buy a khan fight.

Tbf, I always wanted to see floyd fight a journeyman, but khan? Floyds ducking special k.

Brook khan, winnner gets floyd, khan wouldnt see 1:50 on the clock in round one. I no it cant happen now, but daaaaamn

 

I'm curious how Khan looked bad against Molina? He won every round and stopped him eventually. His next fight against Diaz, there were definitely moments where he struggled mightily. But he still won. In addition, Diaz was a guy that MANY PEOPLE felt defeated Shawn Porter. I do recall Khan pointing this out during the prefight build-up about his performance against Porter. It is only now that we see the caliber of fighter that Porter truly is. Diaz, though over the hill, is still a tough fighter. Let's not act like Khan beat some cab driver or something.

 

If it's followed by a bigger more competitive fight in September, (like this year Guerrero followed up with Canelo) I wouldn't be against this fight all that much.

Funny thing is, this may be a decent style match-up for prime Khan. It'll be an entertaining enough build-up, Mayweather may well get the KO he could do with to keep the interest of some casuals, and a loss to Mayweather wouldn't actually do Khan's career much harm.

 

I am the only one who thinks Khan could actually trouble Floyd for a few rounds.

dont get me wrong I believe Floyd wins this fight 99% of the time, but if and a big if.

If khan can keep this at lenght and Mayweather stays on the back foot, it may be worth watching for the first 3/4 rounds

 

He's going to fight Khan.

 

Only Pacquiao is the other big fight available for him. I don't see Mayweather moving up to 154 again, not even for Martinez or GGG.

 

I hate Khan but if he beats Mayweather I'll laugh my head off. Serves him right for giving us such a **** fight.
