Garcia/Matthyse/Provodnikov would give him a run for his money I reckon.

    Great matches.

with stringent drug testing, Manny would lose them all

an undrugged Pacquiao vs Provodnikov would be astounding

garcia would be a good fight but i think mannys speed would just overwelm him. matthyse would perhaps get stopped.. after the garcia fight we saw his chin does have its limits.. and mannys work rate would slowly chip away at it

to be honest i kind of favour provodnikov over pac.. DONT ASK WHY.. he has not achieved anything close to pac but something tells me his style would crack through pac

Provodnikov has a great chance of landing on Manny's fragile chin and knocking him out.

Because all flat footed stalker Rios and Magarito did so well against Manny...:patsch

Provodnikov would do little more than Rios did. And he has a hell of a chin and as powerful as Provo.

Sure there is a bit more to Provo but he doesn't have one punch power he breaks people down. His KO record is not very impressive at all. Pacquiao struggles with counter punchers and movers, of which Provo certainly is not.

To be honest the 140 division today is hyped up...

Cotto put a beating on Paulie when Paulie was fresh and in his prime... Cotto and Mayweather put a whooping on Zab when Zab was Super Judah....

The division now... is nothing compared to then... Pacman right now would have a field day with any 140 pounder, so would Mayweather, Cotto and others.

    Good point.

I won't be surprised if the first time Danny Garcia steps up to Welterweight to fight a lower top 10 type guy, he loses when he's favored to win.

Garcia is probably a good enough boxer/has good enough timing to possibly beat Pac in a good scrap Matthysse would be a war either way imo the rest I'd favor Pacquiao handily

I maybe in the minority with this but I think the WW/JWW division is better at the top and all around now than it was then, outside of Cotto/Mayweather none of the guys then have done anything compared to now Cotto has never been lineal or the man in any division like Garcia hell it took some well timed low blows to keep Cotto from getting dropped/stopped by Judah.

Prime for Prime Matthysse imo is over Malianagi just to compare the fighters you mentioned
As far as the WW division Bradley is a 2-weight champ and has two ATG's on his record Margarito is barely a one weight champ, there are HOFers/ATG's fighting at welter and a potential HOFer in Garcia at JWW now outside of Cotto/Mosley/Hatton there are no fighters between JWW/WW that would even make a dent in a historical sense just my opinion though

I reckon they most certainly would not. Exciting fights for as long as they last though.

Absolutely ridiculous. Horrendous post on your post.

I agree, i reckon pac would do alot of damage to provos face aswell forcing a stoppage. Provo seems to mark up badly, if bradley pizza faced him like he did imagine what pac would do.

140 bradley will prolly beat them all. now pac beat a heavier and in tip-top shape bradley like he was a rag doll.

there is a reason why pac is in ww, it is so much more difficult to sell 140lbers against him.

pac would prolly hatton a few of them, even the pac that fought rios.

Bradley already beat him with one leg

Provodnikov would give him an awesome match

    Other opponents are weak

I'd pick him over all these guys and I'm a fan of both Pacquiao and Garcia. As much as I despise seeing people continue to overlook Garcia after continuously proving them wrong he has no chance against that version of Pacquiao at 140. Too much speed, serious power, solid chin, insane stamina and great movement.
