not at all mate Eddie is 100% belief in Ricky or he wouldn't have even bothered negotiating.
He said he'd do it and he's done it how on earth can you knock it

Are you suggesting that I'm wrong in what I said:

"I believe the other side would have had to pay Burns an 80% purse split to bring him to America."

    ??

    Your own point:

"Eddie is 100% belief in Ricky or he wouldn't have even bothered negotiating"

    Isn't that clear.

I'm just saying it isn't like bringing over a fighter for a unification or something like that.

It really isn't that impressive to bring over your mandatory in many cases.

Your relationship with Burns is always going to attract idiots and trolls on here. Most of them are under 14 years of age.

I hope it doesn't put you off to the point you don't post. Always enjoyed your input and good to have a man on the inside.

its common knowledge if the fight went to the US it was a 80/20 split so what's your point?
It's irrespective now the fights in Glasgow and it will be jumping the scots will show you what a real atmosphere is like

Ask any fighter how important home advantage is its massive, your day to day life doesn't change, you sleep in your own bed, not sitting in a hotel bored out your nut, it all adds up mate and Eddie knows this

My point is that it gives Eddie Hearn a major advantage in the negotiations.

So he isn't doing anything special to get the fight over here.

But that doesn't mean it was that difficult to get home advantage in this particular case.

Billy, when does the prep work begin regarding the opponent (obv TC in this case). I'm sure you have seen him fight but when will you actually study him for the fight?

Is it a case of the earlier the better?

Well can you give us some idea of the numbers? Do you know the facts on this?

What is he paying that is so different to past fights?

LW world title fights don't normally involve big money (in boxing terms).
