Good luck to Ricky for this fight, personally I haven't seen enough of Terence Crawford to start thinking he is the next big thing. It is a difficult fight because we don't know how good this kid really is because he hasn't been tested against a top fighter yet.

I think Ricky's experience in distance fights and also fighting a higher class of opponents will tell and he will get the win on points.

Billy do yourself and Ricky a favour, let him do the taking in the ring, instead of you on here! Too many dafties post here, and they are just waiting on a slip up! Last fight it was broadcast everywhere what Ricky was gonna do, he fell massively short, and they were baying for your blood!
Ricky is incredibly fortunate to have the belt, posting in here just turns the pressure up. Good luck Ricky Burns, wish you all the best!

You want BN to tell you the confidential details of a fight contract on an open forum on the internet!!!!!

Come back when your testicles drop son.

Havent seen Crawford, I've seen Ricky's last fights and if he doesnt improve I'm sure he will get beaten.

he was handily outboxed by the guy before Beltran and yes he showed the heart of a champion but was getting beat easily. He lost to Beltran, ok injury is an excuse and a fair one as it was a broken jaw.

His last few fights wont have his confidence sky high, he really needs a good performance for himself aswell as the fans.

I think Burns has a chance, the way people were going on you would think he is fighting Roberto Duran 2.0 at lightweight. Crawford is a very good talent but he was hardly impressive against Klimov and the only good win on his resume is Prescott who is overrated. I see this as a 50/50, Burns has a good chance imo.

There is no way that Eddie would let this go to purse bids and risk Frank winning.

It would **** him and Matchroom right up.

It would also make Eddie cry.

I remember you saying what has Crolla done to deserve a title shot, I'd like to level that same question at you in regard to Simpson.

I hope Ricky is getting well paid for this one because this is the end of his run.

Bet he wished he had cashed out against Broner now.

Brilliant, just after I said this fight wold never happen due to money eddie hearn pulls it off. Fair play to Ricky a true champ, never ducks anybody and before you all mention broner we know the reasons there. Really can't wait for this fight and im quietly confident Burns will rise to the occasion, he is always at his best when he is the underdog, I don't know why that is because Crawford has beat nobody. Total respect for burns not many people would come back from his injury straight in with a opponent like Crawford. Burns to win inside 7 rounds handily.

Not surprised Crawford is willing to come over here given that Burns is the easiest route to a title for him.

Ricky will have to be better then he has ever been including how he was vs Martinez, everyone knows he was very luck vs Beltran after that shocking decision and IMO Crawford is even better then Beltran, I feel as well Crawford has a style all wrong for Ricky, i will be rooting Burns all the way but honestly i think Crawford wins he is a level above Burns IMO.

Burns UD for me will outwork Crawford who's never gone 12 if I know correctly could well be the same as the Gonzalez fight though with Ricky going through some tough moments and Crawford just not being able to keep up the pace.
